Trusting/Knowing v.s. Knowing/Trusting?

Can you trust someone you do not know? Do you need to know someone before you place your trust in them?

Which is of a higher importance to you, knowing or trusting an individual?

I think in order to truly trust someone it takes time. You can feel safe and believe someone when you meet them, but like love, trust has to grow in time.

by default i will distrust everyone. but after my virgo self has done some investigating around (if i deem you important), i might start trusting you lol. now this is different from feeling a connection. i might feel a good vibe/connection with someone right from start, and usually the initial vibe is point on. but even then i don't know everything about you, so i will have to find out with time if you are trustworthy.
