When your just not feeling your SO's friends....
What do you do? How do you cope?
I've gone on multiple weekend trips with these people and I'm really struggling to stomach them for long periods of time.

Example... last weekend we camped at pismo. After the 4+ hour drive we get there and are chilln all of 30mins before they decide to jump BACK into the cars and go offroading.
I was exhausted from the long work week and drive and was all, "you guys go ahead I'm gonna chill here and nap on the beach". His best friends gf got and attitude and was all, "whats wrong with you? why aren't you gonna go?"
She continued in this vein when they had gotten back a few hours later, all up on my shit. "why didn't you want to go with us?"
Me, "I was tired and wanted a nap, it's no biggie"
Her, "so and so only had 3 hours of sleep last night. How much did you sleep?
I finally had to shut it down. "I'm a grown ass woman I don't need to justify my choices to any one, least of all you". Sit the fuck down and leave it alone.

I got weird looks and a few comments when I pulled out the wetsuit and headed for the waves. Offroading is fun and all, but I'm not looking to spend 7 hours doing it...

But what was interesting... when I tried to make conversation with her guy (it was his birthday weekend so I was asking him things like, "Do you feel older, or does it feel like the same shit") she saunters over and sits on his lap and cuts me off mid sentence.

I'd discuss it his with bf n tell him that ur different pace but use that example on how that was rude of her to make it a point n kept dragging having u to put ur foot down.

Last night he was having some beers with his bestie and his gf and I swung by to pick him up. He ran to the restroom for a few minutes and we stood there all awkwardly. I don't even feel like trying anymore. Fuck small talk.
