Why is that odd to you?
Do you even comprehend what the concept of a whirlwind romance is?
Did you actually think that it was ever solid in the first place, to think it odd that what attracted you broke it?

It seems like people live in the definitive meaning of words, while never actually believing that they participate in it .... they describe life as an illusion.

Solid no. What a silly thing to say or even imply. Romance is never solid. It is like the breeze.
You should not assume things. 🙂
As far as why it is ODD. That is a long and complicated story. In very very short explanation extreme emotions that are great to have blinded the man from reality. Those same feelings also hurt many people. Much like a volcano. Beautiful to see but dangerous when near.
