Why are some men in relationships unattached and unemotional. What does it take for you guys to open up and allow themselves to feel? How long can a man be in a relationship and be unattached and unemotional? Is there a reason behind this? Men help me out on this one. And women if you can put your input, that would be great.
I'm female, so I can only answer from what I see in men.
My son, who is 25, had numerous girlfriends before getting married recently and he had been accused by all of them for not feeling, or showing emotions . .yet, he's Scorpio and very emotional inside.
He's talked about it and told me that it's because women use it against them. Once they open up and let their inner feelings pour out, females zero-in on this, and manipulate his feelings to soothe her own desires to have a heart-felt relationship with every man she meets.
It's not the feelings are absent, it's just that every girl isn't "the one", yet, every girl wants her emotions soothed, rather she's the one, or not. Sometimes, if he did tell the girl, and he didn't feel "love", the girl freaks out and starts whinning to him, her friends. So, he closed-up and stopped showing them how he felt.
He's found a woman who wouldn't manipulate his emotions . . and married her.
If he feels about you, he'll tell you. If he doesn't tell you, then he doesn't have feelings for you. Don't push him to admit something he doesn't feel, don't use sexual promises in exchange for him lying to you about feeling you so he can get laid.
Just thought I would throw that in because that's something else I remember him telling me. Girls will do anything to have someone love them and spill their feelings. These kinds of girls make men close-up . . . because we all feel . . men feel.
It's not a matter of allowing themselves to feel. It's a matter of if they can trust you, not to use his feelings against him.
Of course, I'm pulling all this from my son's testimony . .
I'm a woman, but I agree with a lot of what P-Angel said. However one MAJOR thing that you need to pay attention to is:
HIS ACTIONS!!!
Just because a guy doesn't say he loves you doesn't mean he doesn't; and just because a guy *says* he loves you doesn't mean he does.
You'll know how he feels by his actions. If you have any doubts by his actions, then he doesn't love you. Many times you'll often know if a guy likes you or loves you just by his actions no matter what he does(or doesn't) say.
If you want a mans perpective,go make this topic under primegen on the aqua board and branh on the virgo board🙂Course you may be in for a rude awakening in doing so.
For my observations, men are more about showing thier feelings through action rather than talking about it.In my experiance the dudes who have no problems saying so-called emotional things,"Oh I was thinking of you"so I bought these flowers","I love you's"to fast, etc. on a regular basis are the ones who are generally lying to you to get in your pants.
Sometimes guys just aren't ready to be in a relationship. I know a couple who just got engaged earlier this year; for 5 years they sat across from each other but never said a word. The guy wasn't even her type. One day, they finally connected. C'est la vie, it's a done deal.
Guys are men... Men are Hu-man... I hate how some people think of men and woman as two different things completly. Men have feelings.. They feel happy, sad, good, bad.. mad. Its just knowing what brings out these feelings in someone that is what needs to be known. All men are not drones that walk around without hearts eating, farting and wanting to have sex (Even though its pretty common haha).. YOu just need to know them as much as a good friend of theirs might. Get to know what he enjoys doing. Fishing? Hunting? Art? Math? Cars? boats? Animals? Movies? there are lots of different ways of making connections with people, its just all about how smooth one is about getting close to a guy. Once they feel they know you, which helps with mutual interest and experiences, the more likely he will tell you his opinions on things. Everyone craves love in one way or another, some just don't open up to the first pretty face that wants to hear it from them. Dig deep and mean it!

Today I read an article from a magazine from 1955 that listed several things the "good housewife" should do- all geared toward pleasing the man of the house, which appropriately ended with something to the tune of- you don't have the right to argue anythi
Why is it that we will be nice or at least civil to complete strangers- people we don't really care about, but then when it comes to the people we love or care for the most all of our inhibitions go out the window and we allow ourselves to say the most ho
Hey all. I've known my best friend for 9 years. He's a Scorpio while I'm a Cancer. This year he asked me out. Do you think the relationship will last long if I do go out w/ him?
