details please :p

i threw a party and shes a vegetarian. i put together a very diverse spread to cater to everyone. i told her in advance, she would be fine. she comes to my party and sees my arrangement. doesnt touch any of the food and proceeds to order a pizza. leaves my house, picks it up, and brings it back to eat. as the host and as her friend i found that to be in bad taste. what i had prepared for her wasnt good enough and i felt unappreciated and disrespected. When i talked to her about it, she tried to flip it and blame me for not living up to her standards of what she likes to eat.

ive written b4 about her actions toward me and im sick of being upset with her time and time again. so im putting myself out of my own misery.

she assumed i was going to make some seafood dish but i didnt. i had so much other things she could eat.

pizza was below standard of anything i had prepared. it was a slap in the face.

ive gone to plenty of dinner parties where i didnt care for the menu. I at least try something and i eat on the way home.

as a friend, she could have done the same, but she knew what she was doing.

i went to her house for xmas dinner one year and she cooked a great meal. She woulda been pissed if i looked at her food and ordered chinese food in front of her face.

I could be wrong, but I think the "food" in this instance has representative of the larger issue. Namely, rudeness / entitlement / etiquette (?)

Showing up, looking around, and THEN ordering the pizza smacks of condescension to me.

She could have eaten beforehand if she was unsure of the offerings, or she could have ordered enough pizza to share. OR she could have just nibbled on what was there, since the hostess was gracious enough to invite her into her home.

Bringing outside food into a restaurant is just plain rude. Unless said food is for a baby and comes in a jar. You wouldn't bring your Pizza Hut into PF Chang's.

I would like to add to the list of things that set sagis off : feeling unappreciated...

Is this true— I think it is from my experiences as well. No one likes to feel unappreciated but I feel like sagis may be more sensitive to this than other sun signs.

furthermore, as mars in virgo i live to serve. if the servant is feeling unappreciated i go find people to serve who will appreciate me

Aww man, come on DMV; This seems a bit childish on both ends don't you think? You both are being overly sensitive which leads me to believe that this is not about "food". What is the real problem here?

If I put myself in your shoes, I would probably would have shrugged off the fact that she left because I would be too busy entertaining. Hell, I would feel relived she had something she could not only eat, but liked!! Take the pressure off me so I can go about my business.

There were a incidents in the past where ive looked at her sideways, but i never brought it to her attention. totally my bad and i should have addressed it. since i didnt, that gave her permission to keep doing it. im just tired of it and i gave it one last try. i told myself, one more time and im done.
