nope i dont have a machine. i hear they are expensive. I see the older ladies in the classes and there is a wealth of knowledge to be learned from them.

yes. there is nothing YouTube cannot teash us.

Have a google... I think you can get a simple one just to start

out at under $ 100 (Singer is supposed to be good).

If it's something you take to easily, it will be worth it.

When I bought myself a machine I paid attention that it was a simple one. The other models were more expensive. And I knew I would not use it that often. Which turned to be right. But my sister and gf used my machine for a while and liked it so they have machines of their own now.

Sometimes when my sister is in love with a bought cloth she changes it at home to get it her way. Or the appropriate size. 😉

I did too way back in the day, even bought a sewing machine in all. I never got around to it. I think it was because the learning process seemed so boring and I didn't have the patience for it. So ya I never got to use my new sewing machine and of course I never learned.

I hope you get around to it...I think once you learn the basics, it can be fun.

Same here. I made one slinky top under moms supervision, and that was it. No patience.

But I love to watch her sew, and make things.
