My Sag said...please help translate!

I've been dating a Sag male (I'm a Leo by the way) for a couple of weeks. It's pretty explosive...we are 30 and 32, so we have calmed down a little and taking things slow for a leo/sag couple. We still haven't gone all the way (close), but we see each other 2-3x per week and talk for hours every day. Up until last night our conversations have generally been silly/sarcastic. But apparently he has put a few things together, and realized that we have a lot in common. We both have had very hard pasts and have overcome a lot of circumstances, we have both reached a point where we have come to know ourselves very well, and we both love to learn and are like sponges when it comes to learning. So he makes this comment last night...he said that no matter what happens between us, even if nothing ever happens...i will always be in his life, i will always be a close friend, and he loves talking to me. Coming from any other sign I'd be certain he's trying to put me in the friend category, but given the fact that everyone is a friend to a sag, what is the significance of this statement—

yeah, I have a few friends who are Sags and he's putting you on the friend shelf. don't sleep with him, or you will end up being the friends with bennnies and you will never move forward from there.

A sag guy that wants to be with you will flat out tell you. If he's told you the "no matter what" phrase, that means that he plans on sleeping with you (like the woman above said, bennies) and he doesn't want you to think that it is going to lead to anything.
