I am seriously sensitive to negative energy

It makes me sad and physically tired.

When I first started my job @ the hotel...doing customer service all day...I cried all the time. I was tired, I got sick frequently, I was miserable. It was all the people bitching about nothing. I feel like it did help me grow a little more resistant to it than I was before, but I still feel very affected by it.

Yes plus it makes people lazy.

If your always so fucking negative and refuse to take chances on shit how will you ever get anything done?

I fully agree with this, if you're gonna sit down and do nothing but be miserable, you only have yourself to blame when nothing good comes your way. You have to want to make changes for yourself.

Sometimes though, the harsh reality of everything going on around me and just life in general can get too much and I do need to retreat. Somedays I do feel a bit *meh* and take a few days 'retreat' (lol) but after that I'm back on the grind and the madness with everyone else.

Yeah sometime its hard to get out of a funk- but i do try to be like sunshine in my office
Sometimes it take someone to be the bigger person and show positivness or the silver lining in a situation for everyone else around them to step up to get out of a negative funk.

I have a friend who is always negative, complains no one helps her, has no money (but I see new stuff at her house all the time). I sometimes cannot answer her texts/calls because she brings me down with her. We all have troubles but us Sags don't go around showing it or complaining about it.

I can be quite negative its mainly a habit of thinking. I used to be very positive but then got physical disabilty which led to depression. I remember how I used to think when I was positive and try to get back to there but my habits are so strong. Are Sagittarius positive thinkers in general? Im capricorn.

Im finding the whole of society is becoming negative so its an uphill struggle to not follow the masses. For example newspapers and movies. All full of horror stories. Hypochondria is even in our pet food now. The solution in my eyes is to stop rejecting and seeing negatively..our roots, our culture, our history, our relatives. Part of constant change is rejecting the current thing as bad, eg constantly changing facebook or windows. In this way so much changes so fast we feel disorientated and lose our roots. Then we are in chaos. the waltons was positive.....then dynasty and dallas were negative.......now we have very negative TV. x factor is mainly telling people who believed in themselves that they are rubbish and destroying their positive feelings. Anyway I agree positive is much healthier.

So, I have been watching this thread for a bit now, and I just have to ask for some feedback from you guys.

I was talking to someone. This person is a saggie. So, I chat on for a couple minutes. She asks a couple of questions, and my response was "OK, those are fair questions." They were fair and on target, so sure, ask away.

The immediate response I got from my....fair questions." remark was about how negative that remark was. And I do mean immediate response.

So, here is where you have to help me out, when did "fair" become "negative?"

Hmm probably had more to do with your tone than what you actually said.

Idk though :/

My Sagi bff loves Pikachu btw 🙂

It's like the personification of her. We were trying to figure out our dopplegangers one time and she's like PIKACHU. Haha, it really is. Looks like her and everything.

Pikachu and Hello Kitty = bffls 😛

"Two solutions for dealing with constantly negative people: cut them off, or laugh at them."

I concur. With Sag in merc, I usually just say something witty/funny/sarcastic and laugh at them while they scratch their heads wondering if I was really serious or not 😛

Some ways 2 get rid of Negative ppl:

1) Don't get into an argument
2) Empathize with them
3) Lend a helping hand
4) Stick to light topics
5) Ignore the negative comments
6) Praise the person for the positive things
7) Hang out in 3??_s or more people
8) Reduce contact with them / Avoid them

If none of the above work, U may have 2 do this
