One-Night a Week

Okay serious question:

I'm already working 2 jobs but I may need a bit more case to help supplement.

Would it be worth my while to work in a nightclub or a bar for 1 day a week —

I wanted to work in a nightclub before but I passed on it due to other duties (I should've followed through :/)

I'm in the process of looking for fill in spots -- you know, where they don't have any coverage for that one day or something. If it's one night every week, they may not mind as much and I will be kept there for a while.


Anyway, ideas?

I'm still in school working on my undergrad 😉 There's no aiming high until completion. I refuse to work another 9 to 5 job and then my classes suffer. No good.

I would say that it totally depends on which club you're working at. In nightclubs, money can be a total gamble- the tips will vary depending on how busy it is and what the clientele is like.

Don't forget too that if you're working in a club it might interfere with your sleep schedule if you also have a day job.

Of all my friends who work in the service industry, the one who regularly makes the most tips is a cute, bubbly girl who bartends at a sports bar. She is very outgoing, and the clientele (mostly regulars) really like her.

I would say- go for it, but keep in mind that tips can be unpredictable and the late nights can wreak havoc on your sleep patterns.

Like I said, I only want one night a week.

I'm going to have to make myself over a bit too. Been wearing my hair in a bun and what not. Can't do that where I want to work. So the cute and bubbly girl is the one that has the most success? Hmmm, okay ^_^.

If it doesn't work tonight, or tomorrow night or Sunday night then I will keep looking hahah. I will need a good $ 700.00 by the week of September 5th. So yeah, I gotta get cracking 😛 Thanks again.
