Revealing Yourself

When I fall in love, I make my intentions known. I reveal all of me. In essence, I tell them "I stand naked before you. Here I am." Yeah, it sounds corny, but I take it seriously and I pay close attention to their reaction. Fellow Saggies, how do you reveal yourself when you're in love. Anyone can respond, but I want to hear from my fellow signs in particular.

oh god, i turn into the silliest goof ball you've ever seen when i fall in love. I'm already a happy person, and so I'm freakishly happy when in love. It's probably to the point of being a turn off for most women. I've learned to put that in check just a little. I have incredible amounts of energy, don't really need to sleep much ... certainly overwhelming for a woman unless she is feeling it too. I've never taken meth or anything like that, but when I'm really in love, I feel kind of invincible and like I have super powers ... fortunately, i've never tried to fly off a building then.

my venus is in cap and my moon is in scorp.

when i am in love i shell out money, gifts, clothes, dinners, i in essence take care of the other person. i go to work.i become somewhat of a humble servant. i may not be so touchy feely, but i express my love with tokens of affection. i may even write some poetry.

emotionally, im possessive and extremely insecure. i wig out, i cause fights, i ice out, i ignore. if im not flipping out over something not going my way, im not in love.

i also smile alot when i talk about the other person.

I'm an Aries (as you have probably gathered from my username) my sag has done just that. It's gotta be the only time I haven't run for the hills at such a thing. He is the first person I have met that understands me. We are very much alike. I think it saves a lot of time dealing with somebody that doesn't reciprocate. Aries and sags don't like "games". I dislike any sign that does that. Especially the ones that try and rest you ahem Cancer. Haven't the patience for it

I am a one man only type of person, when in love, I literally do not have eyes for anyone but that person. I literally do not notice other men anymore.

I'm an in curable romantic and I approach it in an old school way. I write poetry and send love letters scented in cologne...and they're spontaneous. I miss those days.

For the ladies...how do you like for your man to express his love? Physically is obvious, but emotionally? Verbally?

I love love love to buy my partner gifts and presents and what not. I court him as much as he courts me. I got him three of the new Nike football jerseys just because. Not to mention bracelets, shirts, dinners, vacation, etc. I Always think of him before I think of myself. Ill buy for him before I get something for myself. Now, I can become obsessed with him too. I love to be up under him. Im so focused and dead set on him, no one else can catch my eye. Since hes a cancer, I havent been able to smother his as of yet. i couldnt have said this better myself. it almost pains me to NOT buy my object of affection. its like im drooling to take them on a shopping spree.

once the relationship has ended, so does all that shit. ive been told that it feels like night & day.

i would love to meet a guy who writes love letters. i write some and leave them in secret places for my object to find later on.

although as a venus in cap, it has to be reciprocal in some way. it doesn't have to be one for one, but dammit you have to pull your weight.

Hahaha...yea. I think most sag guys are like that. Not rattled very easily. My sag would always respond perfectly when I was overanalyzing and getting out of hand. He would just answer all my questions and I would calm down and go back to normal.

Awh...that's sweet. I've written a love letter in my day too. I express myself better and more comfortably in written word.

Tell me about it DMV! I'm the exact same way. I'm not the type to remind someone of the things I've done for them. At the least that speaks for itself and I have a golden heart lol. I get a card or a shirt that didn't fit while I notice a brand new pair of $ 400 shoes on their feet. Smh. As much as I wanna say spend some damn money on me for a change, I can't give in to that type of thinking lol. Just want to be appreciated...

i just no longer fuck with that person. i mean it really shows there interest level in you and how much they pay attention to the things you say. ive had people give me chocolate with nuts no damn well im allergic.

being reassured through a simple look....gaze in my eyes and smile...even if it's a fleeting moment, you just know, he is happy with you and vice versa! I guess like most of us, it's always in the actions & affection.

For the most part yes. I'm rather Scorpionic, crabby

in that sense. My pincers attach to said guy and a sort

of osmosis happens. And the "reveal" is done on a intuitive

level. As far as more tangible things that I do. Said guy

gets taken care of physically, emotionally, spiritually. He

This is admirable. Does this include the admittance of one's insecurities and weaknesses? I feel like I just clam up and shy away when I feel someone's hurt me, intentionally or not, which is inevitable in any relationship. Does it take a certain kind of courage to own up to our shortcomings and admit our hurts? How does one overcome their reticence?

I feel like being a Sag, this should come naturally to me but I'm lost.

but, then, i never shy away from confrontation.
confrontation=one is ready for the bullshit to be over
plus, i have little shame.
we ALL have shortcomings...at least you know that i know that you know mine 😉

Its does. I'm a Sag. I'd rather someone know all of me and make a clear choice then hide myself and have an illusion...no matter how convincing it is. Simply put, for me, love involves giving all of you. If that's not enough for them, let them go. Its humility. If you want love, it has to be done right from the start. That way, you know the difference when you have it.

When I'm in love, I wanna know everything about the person. I want to make them feel understood, and I want to make them feel happy. What someone said about tunnel vision is spot on - I will only have eyes for that person, cause I become fascinated with them... I want to pick their brain and soul, I wanna crawl into their skin and stay there till I know them, inside out. Lol, is that creepy? I'm pretty black and white, I want the person to be enthusiastic about me as well. I don't need to be around them all the time, and we def need to have our seperate lives, but it would hurt a lot if I ever sensed that I wasn't their favorite 😢


Funny thing is, I have libra moon and venus so I dunno where this all comes from. I've only been in love like this once.

ha! i sound nothing like the venus in cap saggy i loved. 🙂 we had damn near the same placements. he showed me alot that i didnt like about myself.

still makes me sad

My ex was a Sag and he proppsed to me 2 months after we met. He was totally into me and full on in love after such a short period of time that it was difficult for me to comprehend. We were together for 4 years and we're still friends
