quinqunx does not mix at all. just co-exist.
but because astrology is nonsense anyway and if you want to do it correctly, then check the whole chart compatibility. maybe she has Cancer or Scorpio parts to cling to your sun. or maybe degreewise (I mean out of sign) conjunctions, trines or sextiles?
Cap and Pisces in his chart could complicate it more.
