Solar-Powered Glowing Bicycle Path In Netherlands Inspired By Van Gogh??s Starry Night

"Dutch artist and designer Daan Roosegaarde has created a beautiful and innovative glowing bike path that, when illuminated at night by glowing pebbles and LEDs, looks like Van Gogh??s famous Starry Night painting.

The kilometer-long bike path, which was created using both glow-in-the-dark technology and solar-powered LEDs, is located in Brabant, the Dutch county where Van Gogh was born and raised. The swirling, glowing forms on the path??s surface will help bicyclists stay on track when they ride at night."

http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2014/11/giant-skull-like-object-on-mars-could-be-from-10-foot-alien/<BR>

The surface of Mars looks a lot like the desert areas in the western United States where the deer and the antelope play and then die and leave their skulls to be bleached in the sun until they look like rocks. That's why anything spotted on the Martian surface by keen observers of photographs from the Mars rovers that looks kind-a sort-a like a skull bears closer observation. Especially when it resembles the skull of a human-like creature that could have been 10 feet tall.

The image was taken by the Mars rover Spirit and appears to show an object partially buried in the Martian soil. Its discovery in the photo is attributed to an unnamed British man but the photograph was enhanced and distributed in a YouTube video by Paranormal Crucible, which has found and disseminated many of the odd and unusual images found on Mars.

Without any tweaking, the object does resemble a skull buried to jawbone level or possibly missing that part of its face. There appears to be two eye sockets and a nasal cavity between them, along with a horizontal protrusion that could be once been covered with a unibrow.
Based on estimates of its size, if the object is the skull of a humanoid being with similar body structure and proportions to humans, the Martian or alien visitor would have been around 9 or 10 feet tall.
What do you think? I know, it takes a little imagination to go from the image below to the enhanced one at the top of this page.

curious and curiouser....😉

LOL! That picture of the skull - had me convinced! 😄

I keep thinking of a Star Trek movie where they released a bomb on a dead planet and Bang! the whole think turned into a lush green paradise for humans to exploit further

Mars...here we come 😆

Here is also something to share.

The giant montane pitcher plant is a botanical predator, ruthlessly luring in prey and feasting on its victims—except when it's not.
Researchers have discovered that the carnivorous plant is mighty adaptable; when there's no prey around, it thrives just fine on the poop of a tree shrew that lives in Borneo??s mountains.
The pitcher plant is the world??s largest meat-eating plant; in low altitudes it feeds on ants, small insects, and possibly even small rodents. The plant entices its prey with tasty nectar, and when the animals lose balance and drop into the fluid-filled pitcher, they??re drowned and ingested.

But in Borneo??s higher altitudes, there aren't enough gullible and clumsy insects to keep the plant alive. So, evolutionary forces pressured the plant to tweak its design a bit to entice the tree shrew to pay it a visit and poop into it.

"Something told me that what I needed to be, was in Arizona"

I just finished watching this video from one of my favorite Sagittarians, Mr TommySotoMeyor. I don't know the story but I guess he broke up with his woman and up and moved away altogether.

When Sags are done...they go. 😄

The environmental group Greenpeace apologized on Wednesday for unfurling a sign calling for renewable energy next to a giant hummingbird design, one of the huge drawings called the Nasca lines. The message, spelled out in yellow plastic letters, was timed to get attention during a major climate conference in Lima. Greenpeace activists made an unauthorized intrusion into the World Heritage site to place the sign, resulting in protest from Peru.

Yanno what's crazy? This ride. 🙂

Not only is this by far the oldest coaster in Spain and the fourth oldest coaster in Europe, it's also the oldest steel coaster still operating in the world. The side-friction scenic railway coaster opened in 1928 and runs in depressions made into the ground and along the top of a coastal wall. Although the coaster has no huge drops and only goes 31 mph, it's still quite an exciting ride since passengers sit on wooden benches without any seat belts, lap bars or any other type of restraints.
