I go meet the aries for coffee

that pisses aqua off at me

she breaks up with me ... and in the next breath, oh, but you have to give me some time because I don't have any money to move.

so now, I'm living with a female roommate / ex-girlfriend

this should be interesting.

hell no. kick her the fuck out. first she holds out on sex and now this shit. shes a drag. bring the aries girl over.

Well, as it turns out, I barely had time to get my hair trimmed a little before we made up. I had to bite my tongue a lot, and in the end we may have made some good progress.

two good things have come about.

1. she didn't go out drinking or hook up with somebody to get even. she came home each night and we talked it out. I was kinda worried she might do what it seems some of her friends have done ... breakup over some bs, hookup with somebody else, then makeup or try to makeup ... and act as if they hadn't just cheated. Anyway, that would have gotten her ass kicked out.

2. i was having some issues with her total lack of self discipline. When we were "broke up" i wanted to let her have it and tell her everything I thought she was doing wrong. I managed to refrain and re-frame, and in the process of making up, we kind of have a deal where we will get up fairly early, exercise, and do a meditation session together. We did that today, and it was awesome .. uh, there may have been some makeup sex mixed in too, but would have still been awesome. Anyway, I'm hoping our new routine will get her started earlier so she can get her work done and have more time for everything else.


@Fum, yes, the original Aries from about 4 years ago now. We really are "just" friends now. I'm totally friend-zoned there, but we do really enjoy seeing each other every once in a while. I had said that I was going to stop hanging out with the aries, but then I was pissed the other day and in a I'm-gonna-do-whateva'-the-hell-i-want kind of mood. Still, meeting an old friend for coffee shouldn't have turned into this big of a deal.
