Hi Folks-
LIONESS here swatting playfully at Scorpio male-or so it began. This man came into my life out of the blue and we were together almost all the time day in and day out for around, say 4 mos. Then all of a sudden he becomes very busy, starting a new project etc. In the meantime, I have fallen head over heels for this man. I have not told him truly how I feel, but can he not sense it? What once was daily phone calls and sheer adoration has vanished into nothingness. I have asked him, told him, etc. how unhappy this makes me, but says there is nothing he can do about it right now, he tries to be there for me, 'when he can', but I feel like something is amiss. I listened to this man tell many women in his life he wanted nothing to do with them, so if that is the case with me, why won't he just end it already? OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW This hurts *WINCE* Please help, any insight is appreciated. I need a male Scorp decoder ring, does anyone know where I can get one? 🙂

Well, being a leo,you are probably way to nice and sweet for the scorpio man. I was with one for a year, and it was kinda like this. They normally work very well with aries or capricorn. These women are really outspoken and fiesty types. He likes a challenge. You at home pondering over him as you are now is no fun to him and makes you seem weak to him. You should be up front and tell him that you love him and want to be with him, and then tell him how you want the relationship to be. If you are a bit fiesty, he'll probably come around. Now if you feel that is forsaking your great leo quatlities, then don't do it. I feel you should get a life, such as going out with friends(stay occupied)and then he'll be wondering about you all the time. I bet he's not feeling worried like you are. If you tell him how you feel, and nothing changes, then tell him to kick some damn rocks! That simple. You wouldn't want a guy like that anyway. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Leo, My only message as direct and simple as this can sound if practiced will ease your frustration level. When you learn how to be with someone (especially a Water sign) and tend to depend on them as much as Leos do. This can be a turn off to us Water signs, we want attention but can not give you all of our time. We have to focus on our lives as we do not want to lose track of it. There is a saying that goes like this. "Do not focus so much on tommorow as you will lose track of today" My advice to you and all LEOS is try to become more independent of your mate, give them space and a little liberty. If you can give him that I am almost positive that you can win his or her heart. I know it can be difficult to do this once you have given in to a person. However, speaking from experience I have a LEO woman on my hands right now and as much as I care for her. I can not and will not jeopardize my own being for the sake of spending time with her. We also need space because as water signs we tend to absorb the world and the people around us. There is no person in the world that you need to be more truthful with than your own person. I am not saying that I will not spend quality time with my Leo mate. I am just saying we all have our own direction in life and although we unify, once in a relationship. In order to keep a balance in ourlives we need to look out for our own interests while also looking out for eachother. It is almost like a juggling act at the circus. The clown is juggling many balls at once if he focuses on just one of those balls they all fall to the floor. Just think Independent and think open minded, give your mate a little trust and liberty and he will be yours forever.

World Peace,
Aquarius/Pisces Male

Thanks for all of your comments. As far as being nice and sweet, I am nice and sweet to those who are nice and sweet to me, believe me he has seen my b**** side, on more than one occasion. It didn't do anything to help, only frustrated him I am sure.

Why is there such a positive response to such behavior? The bad guys and nasty women always win? Doesn't seem right. We are supposed to be 'going out' not seeing anyone else, but how is this possible to do when you don't see the person. He told me at one point that he needs my unconditional support, so how can I do that and be 'feistily' running my mouth at the same time? Seems like inconsistent behavior. I could never hold going after his dreams against him. He says, I wish I could hang out with you more, quality time, but he is basically consumed with all he is trying to get off the ground right now. Bottom line, I gravitate from, let him work to get my time again, to being there for him unconditionally, to being hurt through and through by how he is treating me or NOT treating me given that I feel so stronglyh about him. But how can I do that if he knows not the depth of my feelings for him. Finally, I fear that if he knew, it might be more than he can handle. But if I don't tell him, will I always wonder what if? Hmmm. Wow that was long. I think I need a shrink..........LOL

Excellent question! I would like to hear the answers from some Scorp men on that one too!

Personally, I think any guy worth his salt, if he truly loved you and wanted to be with you, regardless of you throwing all your feelings on the table, would go after you and not leave you alone! I understand they don't deal well with rejection but you haven't rejected him, so where does this come from. Tune into what is going on and you'll see throught the smoke eventually! Women have intuition, use it!

I know this sounds a little weird, but with a scorpio, if you want his attention, you have to earn it. He's not going to go after you if you're sitting at home pining after him, and he knows that you have deep feelings for him and you want him.

Scorpios love a chase. You don't neccessarily have to be a b*tch or nasty about it. Just try not to be so easily won. Keep yourself busy, and always keep your options open in regards to other men (ESPECIALLY if you two are just dating.)

Once you start paying him less attention, his jealous/possessive scorp tendencies will kick in and (if he really wants you) he'll make the effort. If not, you'll know he's not really interrested then, because Scorpis are known to be relentless in persuit of a woman they're going after.

Oh, excuse me on that one comment. Maybe you haven't told yet your true feelings for him yet, but they CAN sense things like that, even though you may think he's in the dark.

He probably knows there's something up. And he's probably just enjoying the fact that he has you right where he wants you right now.

Not trying to sound mean or anything. Just trying to give you a heads up. I'm actually in a push/pull relationship with a scorpio boy myself, and this is what I've come to find. If you're up to playing his game, then by all means, go for it. But a scorpio's game, mind you, isn't for the faint weak-hearted.

I totally agree! If you want him, play the game as he does. Occupy your damn time. "Two Can Play Game" is a great movie you can rent showing these little games. Also, think if you don't tell him it will bother you always. Life is too short to hold secret feelings! IF you tell him, it will definitely show you are a little fiesty and you have a backbone. I have been through this and having a backbone is more attractive.

Lioness here too.Been there,done that.
I played and playing right now the "hide 'n seek" with a hot scorp myself.Really exciting game!Keeps me in shape! For the first years or so-I was so frustrated and wanted this to end quickly ,but the more I let myself ?nto his complicated seduction chase, the more I started to looking forward to his next inpredictible move🙂
A scorp falls very slowly in love,he needs to be sure of you and your feelings,he needs time but IT IS ALL WORTH IT!And he will teach you how to love like no one has done before!
So,my advice to is HIDE!And he will find you if he really wants you!
Let me know how are you doing-I keep my fingers crossed for U!

Dear Fellow LIONESS,

You have been playing this game for years— Holy crap. This man must really be something. I also forgot to mention that during the 3rd month we were seeing one another, he asked me if I would consider moving in with him. DEFINITELY not what I wanted and told him so. He is like, OK, at least leave some clothes here, I was just like uhhhh.....So, that all seems a distant memory at this point. So I am even more confused now. If you play games, such as HIDING, how does that show that you can be trusted with a person's heart and their feelings? I just have to know, b/c I can't figure that one out! If the following phrase is any indication of the intensity level here, a profile I read elsewhere said this combo can result in crimes of passion YIKES!!!! I could totally see that one.....

Let's begin on a positive note. One thing Leo and Scorpio share is an honest respect for one another. As mentioned before all Fire Signs (and Leos are no exception to the rule), instinctively comprehend that their bright enthusiasms can be drowned in Scorpio's watery depths ? just as all Water Signs, like Scorpio, intuitively realize that if Leo's fires are allowed to blaze uncontrolled, they can come dangerously close to dehydrating their sensitivity, causing them to nearly disappear ? if not entirely. A Scorpio will crawl away in the dark of night, rather than face final dehydration from a Leo mate, relative, or friend. Scorps are self-protective. Very.

Both Sun Signs are Fixed in nature, and have a secret desire to dominate. Well, at least with Scorpio it's a secret desire; with the Lion, it's more or less obvious ? unless the latter is a Leo who is submerging the natural Leonine ego, a very unhealthy thing to do. To casual observers of this pair it appears that Leo must eventually win control, the Lion or Lioness being so transparent about his or her goal as ruler of the relationship. But not all casual observers are astrologers. If they were, they'd take care not to underestimate Scorpio's subtle, long range strategies, the power gained by keeping motives hidden, the effectiveness of a surprise attack when it's least expected. Careful calculation is advised before predicting the outcome of an association between these two astrological creatures ? in, the office, the family circle, or the marital scene.

The Scorpion is sensitive, and so will sense instinctively when Leo's pride is injured, then be enormously comforting and protective?when an outsider has done the hurting. When the wounds have been inflicted by the Scorpio himself (or herself), however, Leo may feel that Attila the Hun would have more compassion. It's not anyone's fault but yours, Leo. Over and over again I've warned you that Scorpios mean business when they're miffed. They'll sting in retaliation. When Scorpio is mad, Scorpio is mad, and there's no use trying to coax them out of it. Going away until it blows over won't help either. The anger will still be there when you return. Since Scorpions are not the overlooking kind, the only safe way to handle one and not get stung is to be careful not to push the Pluto-ruled person too far or too often.

Unfortunately, Leo will seldom accept such advice. Treading carefully around Scorpions is for the cowardly. The proud and dauntless Leonine character scorns such caution, so Leo often pulls out all the stops, and the devil-take-the-hindmost. A friendly suggestion: Watch it. The devil just may do that.

Strangely, the relationship between children and adults, whether related or not, in this particular 4-10 Pattern, is frequently very close, even touching. There is something hauntingly paternal or maternal in the attitude of the older Leo or Scorpio to the younger Scorpio or Leo. It's a joy to behold, delightful to experience. Perhaps this is because the younger Leo has not yet had time to acquire such fierce pride, therefore will not resent an older Scorpion's intense protective gestures. And it may be that the younger Eagles have not yet developed the full Pluto retaliatory nature, therefore can accept the Leo's dramatics more good-naturedly. The older these two become, however, the more effort they'll have to exert to achieve harmony. I know a young Scorpio boy who formed a deep attachment for an older Leo man. The latter was like a big brother to the youngster, whose own Aquarian big brother was, at the time, weathering the storms of adolescence, and therefore behaving with detachment toward him.

When a Scorpio finds something or someone worthy of respect, no one can be more respectful than a young Eagle, and Mike, the Scorpio boy, found much to respect in his older Leo companion. Bob, the Lion, patiently and lovingly taught the boy how to catch a lizard with a stri

Wow, thank you for the wonderful story. I can definitely see alot of myself and the Scorp in that. I vowed I would not call him at all, but broke it and called only to get a machine....I want to tell him so how I feel, but I've been told time and time again that as soon as you are no longer a challenge, that's when the jig is up. So tell me, how can I tell him how I feel since to me, that is the ultimate statement in no longer being a challenge? OWWWWWWWWWWWWW
