Moon and Ascendant in Scorpio

Hello everyone,

I was hoping some of you can help me get to the bottom of this confusion I have. I was born on the 19th October, 1982, which makes me a Libra. But I have discovered that my moon is in Scorpio and that my ascendant (rising) is also in Scorpio. For years I have never felt like the typical Libran and often wondered why. I have read what characteristics the moon and the scendant in Scorpio comprises of, but I have also read that the ascendant and moon in Scorpio can overshadow the sun sign due to Scorpio being the most powerful sign of the zodiac.

Now although my sun sign is Libra, does the acendant and moon in Scorpio make me mostly Scorpio? I have also read that the 19th October falls on the Libra-Scorpio cusp. So what am I? Am I a Libra or Scorpio? I'm very confused. I have only just developed my interest in astrology and I'm hoping some Scorpios here can help me with my question.

What exactly are you wanting to know about your personality related to scorpios?I probably won't have many answers for those based on most of my charts are earth and fire signs but maybe someone else could.Your base you is libra everything else adds to it,moon is emotions;emotionally your like a scorpio,risings how other people see you(supposedly).Mars is sexually related and action(aggression,drive,power,strength,etc)area.Venus is love related,Mercurys your brain area,etc.

Damn, this fucking site dates as far back as fucking twelve years ago? I wonder if the OP will read this. I'm a Leo with a Scorpio moon and ascendant and I've always gotten shock and awes from people when I've told them that I'm a Leo. I always get mistaken for a Scorpio. Even distant relatives that I never come around have often mistaken me for a Scorpio. It's quite flattering for the most part. But yeah, I'm definitely a different kind of Leo from all of the other Leo types.
