I like to follow Scorpio's horoscope because I crush on you guys so easily, but I'm just really thrown back this morning because I thought you guys RULED the emotions?? How can such an emotional person not like the drama from others? Am I understanding this correctly?

This i cannot agree with, i'm sorry. i'm a libra girl, and the whole "emotional detachment" thing is the one thing that i hate about aquarians. when someone i love is hurting, i can't help but hurt for them as well, this is something i can't control. and aside from compatablity, emotional understanding is a BIG factor when going into a relationship for me. when i love someone, or even care about them, i try my hardest to be emotionally understanting, and to meet their emotional needs. if MY emotional needs are not met, then as far as i'm concerned, this person is selfish, and i grow to resent this person. i could never see myself with an aqua male, i NEED someone who has emotional intelligence, and an aqua guy just could not fulfill that for me.

I think I'm an Aqua all the way. My Bday is Feb 10th. I know it's so much deeper than a sun sign and I dont have my other placements memorized. (Mercury, Venus, etc)

In relationships, I only get along with aquas, libras and geminis, but I can only STAY with a libra. I am most attracted to scorpios though. It's the oddest thing. We cant put up with eachother because I go where I am pushed and feel pushed easily. And they never understand the aqua ability to seem miles away from you mentally, but be so present at the same time. THAT is what is so difficult for me. I can walk away and not be close and I would never betray a relationship at the same time. Every Scorpio I have had a close bond with cant understand a relationship without constant acts of ownership. And common sense would say "Well, yeah, that's what being a couple is all about", but it's just like polar opposites to me. I have to have a lot of breathing room and it seems the scorpio male has to constantly have you on lock down or the 20 questions start to make up for the distance you had. Cant blame him for wanting to know where his business is, but it comes off so insecure.

My dad was a Taurus and my mom was a Virgo. He thought I was a LOONY and she thought I was cold.

I have passionate responses to things..love/hate..the whole dramatic gestures if you will...but I don't show emotion very easily. In fact I freeze in the face of emotion. I don't know what to say or do..so I'd rather just disappear and do nothing.

The only people I can say I truly care about are my family...but I don't even show them any emotion..It always comes out as though I am dictating to them..I show my love/care through action..not words...words are cheap..

Xfoosme - Why I would rather disappear is because I don't see the real benefit of "awwww, it's going to be ok honey, you'll be fine..you'll be better in no time..blah blah"..is all very fake...I think people should learn how to cope with their emotions...Do I know for certain things are going to be better..no I don't...so what gives me the right to say so..It makes me uncomfortable seeing people display a false emotions..oh and there are plenty of award winners in that department..

I don't know if it makes me feel uncomfortable when people express how they feel about me..guess it depends on context of conversation..
