""notso, what are the biggest personal benefits of using all-natural products that you've noticed?""
moisture, moisture, moisture. i've come to realize that our hair and skin need it to stay supple and retain its elasticity. organic products provide that and don't dry my skin out the way other stuff does.
i just got mine cut. chopped a lot off. i needed something diff. on average, i get at least a trim every 4 months. sometimes more frequently. i try not to go more than 6.
my hair grows really fast. and i don't mind getting it cut, because the hairstylist always says things like, "your hair is soooo healthy, i loooove your hair, are those highlights natural?" after which i slap their ass, tell them i'll call them, and leave w/o tipping. just kidding. they do compliment my hair though. that part's true.
got a bob, but it's grown alot since. i want my cut back, so i scheduled an appointment today.
funnily enough, i go to a salon that uses only natural products. they even have a lab on the premises. lol you can smell the bananas and molasses in your hair ::sniffs::
thanks lady m. the meds ain't helpin but i haven't lost hope quite yet. i just hate the hacking, cause it really does affect me mentally and physically.
anyways, i need to do something more productive. night ladies.
yeah notso, i was diagnosed the thurs before the one that just passed. so "the worst" is over, but apparently this cough is gonna last for like another week. sooooooo irritating. i feel like i'm gonna rupture something.
yeah, the fluids and rest, i've been doing it. have no other choice when i feel this icky. i appreciate the concern for sure though.
And although my niece and I share similar features, it is safe to say that she does not look at all like Casper, the friendly ghost. In my DL pic, I do.
lol, that chick looked nothing like me. I look like an alien in my pic. My hair id pulled back in a pony and my eyes look all alien...b/c I just stared at the lady and camera.
I just got into accessories. I have my standard everyday jewelry (gold). BUT then theres the good stuff, just for special occasions. I just got into everyday accesoriess....it does enhance an outfit.
I dont do rings. I have a watch and a bracelet thats it. want to buy a bracelet though. I cant wear anything but gold for long peroids of time in my ear.
I knew girls whose hair didn't start falling out until they started going to Dominican shops. And, I don't know anyone who uses grease in their hair, or even allows anyone else to put grease in their hair. lol 😛
""But, I will say they do black hair better than black salons.""
Wait...so what are Dominicans then? and what type of hair do they have?
Do you consider yourself to be a "girlie-girl"? Are you femme-fatale or the girl next door? Of course, each has its own appeal.
So, tell me....
What are your favorite hair care products?
If you want, you can draw up a list of your faves: hair, nails, accessories, tips, techniques...you name it.
I'm more the "Girl-Next Door" -- I'm simple and uncomplicated ... along with having a few issues. LOL, thats the staple of the GND, we show capabilities on the surface 😉
My favorite are product on water LOL!!! Seroiusly. I also use Infusium 23 (moisture), the conditioner is wonderful 😄 My flat-Iron is used sometimes, it a ConAir and it's really good, especially for my crazy hair -- it's curly 😛
I use clear nail-polish on my nails because they grow so quickly, and I wear very little to no make up -- my skin is really sensitive so I can't wear it often or else I will breakout. Haha, most cappies have sensitive skin LOL
my hair grows really fast. and i don't mind getting it cut, because the hairstylist always says things like, "your hair is soooo healthy, i loooove your hair, are those highlights natural?"
Yeah, my hair and nails grow pretty quickly, but have thyroid problems (sigh) so my hair has its good and really bad times when it comes to growing. Sometimes, I have no trouble, and other times I think I need rogaine LOL!!!!! It's a long story and I will not get into it.
Hair...don't get me started on hair. Anything that will tame it--it has a mind of its own. I like crab23's suggestion of gasoline and a blow torch--my hair would look HOT,
HAHAHAHA!!! I feel the same freaking way!!! I forgot, we had this conversation before. I thing it was sometime last week LOL
I knew girls whose hair didn't start falling out until they started going to Dominican shops. And, I don't know anyone who uses grease in their hair, or even allows anyone else to put grease in their hair.
Indian Schools. They ask you to apply grease( politely called hair oil) everyday. They even punish you and send you back home and fine you if you don't do it.
Oil is really good for thick or curly hair. Most don't like using it though, but it's a smart choice to use oil. If you don't as a result, I think your hair starts to get thinner and more breakage occurs as you get older.
as for perfume, vera wang princess. i LOVE it. that and tommy girl, and cool water woman.
