this scorpion male came back after week of silence , spoke to me and let it be known that he is still mad at me (trying to sting). I told him I know its going to take time and asked him if he wanted to break things off..

That has been two days ago.

Guess he went back under his rock again.

In the meantime....{crickets chirping}.

i mean like wassup with the whole silent treatment bullbutter anyway if your going to come back and talk..express your feelings then go back into the darkness..

lol. the reason i say this is I told him I knew he was trying to get back at me for hurting him by nagging and whining about "I'm still mad at you" ..then he started all this cursing ...I stayed calm and told him i was mad at myself for hurting him in the first place..that when he started to get quiet..the cursing stopped..the messages became fewer..

then when I finally asked if he think we should go our separate ways... i got left in the dark lol

The silent treatment is a tool for manipulation. We all know that giving someone "the treatment" lol will result in their complete & utter devestation, confusion & manipulation. The person giving you the silent treatment almost always actually CAN survive if they talk to you, but they won't b/c they're much more focused on seeing you crumble/cringe, than they are fixing things.

Seems like he purposely came back, cussed at you & then disappeared all over again just for "dramatic effect." Almost like he'll refuse to believe that you "get it" unless he continually throws it up in your face multiple times.

It takes so much more energy to stay mad at someone than it does to just suck it up, get over it & resume all activities with them. Hell, he's probably not even all that mad at you anymore but for some reason he's deadset on you THINKING he is--people surprise themselves all the time when they realize that they actually CAN/could get over something more quicker than they thought.

Honey, he already knows if he's gonna give you another chance. And if he's not, he needs to quit with the mind games & just say that. There's only so long you can entertain these mind games & allow him to make you feel way worse than you actually are.

If he doesn't believe that you're sorry, that's kinda more HIS problem than yours. All you can really do is tell a person once or twice that you're sorry & that you want to make it up to them. They can either accept that & agree to move on with you to fix things OR they won't. Either way, mindgames never helps the situation.

I can't tell you how many times I started off feeling like crap for hurting someone & eventually ended up walking away & saying F it after seeing how much the person was completely unwilling to accept my apology. When a person accepts your apology, they do so verbally AND their actions towards you will also reflect that.

I finally broke down to tears today..his silence is hurting me..it angers me and hurts more then anything my abusive ex ever did..i really dont need this butter right now ..I've been keeping my mind of of him but I miss him so much it hurts. He was there to walk me through my pain..now he's shutting me out.

It okay though, it's a process in which to learn and experience and grow.
