I don't blame her one bit. She was supporting him all those years, while he bragged about using his "money" in strip clubs (HERS!). Hes met up with Kenya behind her back after she told him not to. His obvious attraction to her on television must've been quite humiliating for Phaedra especially because shes been supporting him with nice allowances and gifts $ $ $ $ $ $ . Phaedra leaving will be the end of his posh life style once he gets out. Hes trying to make her look bad by getting everyone on his side on television. Phaedra is my favorite Atlanta wifey... I think shes better off without him, she needs someone to support her emotionally and be there for her. A nice older man Capricorn or Taurus with his own money.

yup, wait and see hes gonna try an bring her down from jail and when he gets out.
Sugarfoot its a ploy. Hes trying to make her look bad by being the "nice" guy so everyone can say "poor Apollo." which is what most people are falling for. He also is trying to make his wrongs right in his own way by apologizing and sharing he made up the whole story about Kenya.
i also think that Phaedra is damned by her peers either way. If she were to be affectionate with him, people woulda called her dumb for loving him.

To be honest I would be frozen all up too. Being an attorney she knows if she makes the wrong move it can be deadly, so shes being a smart scorpio and keeping her cards close to her chest. We all know shes anything but "cold."

So last night on the Housewives, Apollo tried talking to Phaedra but she was really mum and seemed to be caught in a state of paralysis. Almost like she wanted to say alot, but the cat was holding her tongue.
I can surely empathize with being caught in a state of shock and paralysis. Feeling like you want to open your mouth, but the words just dont come. Only later to hit someone with a torrential downpour of ineligible jargon.
I think she has a mercury in scorpio.
I feel like she was extremely uncomfortable with the fact he was doing that in front of people. She made it clear he needs to fulfill his obligations as a husband, she said "you come home only to get clothes and then go back out to the club". She doesn't understand how he isn't devoting all of his time and concern with their children before he leaves for years.
Is what I gathered. I would feel the same way. I am sure she has a lot to say but he isn't wanting to really hear the truth he wants her to be loving and so forth. She looks quite sad and stressed to me in this season. 😢

yup, you could see the stress on her WWHL interview. Her face changed. Shes so private, it must be terrible for her to have deal with this on national television especially with everyone taking apollos side on top of having to deal with this divorce, money, kids and all the drama divorce brings on.

I'm really outing myself here, but this show used to be on my television for reasons outside of my control, so I was forced to sit through a couple of episodes.
I'm pretty sure they had an open relationship with regards to strip-clubs/strippers. I remember one episode where she provided the male strippers for some birthday party. She knew them personally, had some sort of history with them, and she was definitely enjoying the show - giggling about one in particular with his special gifts and talents (giant shlong, etc.) Is she that weak, that if she really had a problem with him going to the strip club and spending her money, she couldn't influence him or do anything about it? I doubt it. Maybe I missed an episode or 50, but from what I saw on that particular one, I don't think that was an issue for them. If it was, its a bit of a double standard.
Its interesting though, that she's a Scorp, has a bachelor's in Mortician Science, and opened that business as a funeral director (and really seemed to enjoy it), given the alleged Scorp fascination with death.

Well, I wouldn't really know the statistics on it. I have been to one strip club myself. Hated it. I'm sure *some* women frequent male strip clubs, and she knew the "talented" stripper personally and had some sort of history with him. I just think there's more to that issue in their relationship, and I doubt any Scorpio woman who is jealous over strippers is going to tolerate her husband frequenting strip clubs - especially one as powerful, attractive, hard-working and successful as that woman. She's a boss.
I agree that maybe she was waiting on that issue, remaining silent. Maybe he was even more of a trophy-type of husband and the connection wasn't that deep. Its personally hard for me to imagine any two people in a committed/loving relationship being ok with the whole strip-club thing but I'm old-fashioned.
Its hard to know how she felt on this issue as she doesn't really reveal much that's personal like that. She's seems to be all about maintaining her public appearance, not that I think she should do otherwise. But I definitely don't think you can assume that was an issue with her.

Ive been to a female strip club as well, never seen so much plastic in all my life (both kinds) but it was better, I didn't have to run from anyone at the end of the night.
Its such a strange tradition to me that people have highly sexualized parties with strippers right before something as sacred as their marriage. My trip to a female strip club was a bit forced, for an aqua friends' birthday party. I've never had the desire to go back after that. I felt bad for the strippers. Coming by the table topless with their giant sweaty breasts, expecting you to put money in your mouth, while they use their boobs smack your face and pull the money out of from in betw. your teeth. My Pisces friend loved that. I just looked away when they came by...lol. Very awkward. At least let's talk a bit and get to know each other before I decide if I want your sweaty boobs in my face...lol.
Then this older female stripper who had apparently worked at the club for a long time, got up on stage. She obviously didn't have the perfect figure anymore but the men were still cheering her on, complimenting her, etc. Everyone except one drunk guy in my party. He actually started heckling her, shouting "cottage cheese ass", etc. She flipped him off from the stage. I was so embarrassed and felt so bad that he did that; I left and our entire group was kicked out bc of that a few minutes later.
I'm in Texas now, and strip clubs are like a way of life here. There is one on every corner in my area.

That's really strange you guys brought this up.i was just looking up today when a relationship is chemically most vulnerable to doing something out of character. My theory was the first few weeks of the relationship, the honeymoon period, and both just before and after marriage. The biggest dopamine highs there are

If I'm hurt, I wouldn't say one word to him. I've had people go from barking in my face to crying and pleading on bended knees. I will not react/respond. My only response after all the noise stops "did you get that out of your system?" *nod*, "good" and I walk off like you're air.
When my mind is made up and I am done, I am done and I have nothing more to say. Love or not love. I don't want to hear anything you have to say either, and I most definitely won't give you what you want by reacting to you or creating a scene. If we have children I would discuss them, when and if appropriate, but there will be no further discussion about "us".
