Instead of assuming this is all they want, ASK DIRECTLY if that's what they are after and communicate with them what it is you want. There's never regret when you ask because no question is ever stupid.

maybe you have difficulty with intimacy. the question is WHY. ask yourself, start to explore it. I personally do not have trouble showing love or affection, in fact, sometimes I think I am too emotional. ??_ and actually I have tried to have "only sex" with people, and it turns out I can;t manage to find that LOL, they always want more--all or nothing, I guess its a sense they get from our extreme-like personalities. I don't think its necessarily a scorp thing, though, this problem you are describing.

my virg gal friend was dating a scorpio and he had problems with being loved. He has no problems with knowing how to be mean, but showing and receiving love is difficult and it broke them up. they spoke different love languages. it really hurt her spirit that he couldnt utter i love you to her. almost like he saw that as a sign of weakness and vulnerability.

turns out his mother wasnt really big on showing love or receiving it.

I can relate. Im stingy/selective with my affection and outward display of emotions. But ive loosened up during the years and i dont see it as someone trying to conquer or control me or use it against me.

You don't feel you are worthy of receiving the attention. Attention/love/affection forces you to confront your feelings of inadequecy.

Yeah Ive had people who became my friends just so they could have sex.
I feel weird hugging friends unless i know they are in love.
