A CHALLENGE to say the least. Among 3 other Virgo children, I have one lonely Scorpio child. Let's say one of my many Virgo's does something wrong; they immediately try to justify themselves, giving me all as reasons why. Then my Scorpio does something wrong...points out what he did, asks me what I'm going to do about it, gives me a benediction about how he FEELS about the whole situation and it ends in a staring contest. Then days later, he'll do something to spite me and remind me of something I told him while disciplining him...DAYS AGO. On another note, he's hands down my funniest most affectionate child.

Anyone raising a Scorpio child have any stories/advice?

Very quiet, a little too quiet where one always wonders (and asks) "What are you doing over there? Why are you so quiet? What are you thinking...?" only to be met with a silent smile.

Great imagination, a MacGyver of sorts, turning anything she can find into a toy, creating a fort, plays quite well alone. When upset or sad, everyone knows, not because she yelling/screaming or creating a fuss, but there is a gloomy cloud that everyone just seems to "feel".

Very curious, perhaps too much so, to the point of "stumbling" across her older sister's "romance" novels, learning all about a woman's delicate flower and the source of a man's "heart" years before her friends....

Scorp kids are a handful, I tell ya....

Hmmmm, the coworker sounds like a gemini. I swear they're hummingbirds. I have a gemini best friend. She's married to a Cancer, has 2 Cancer kids and a scorpio kid, 2 scorpio grandkids and I'm a Cancer...her best friend. lol

My advice
a)Never break your promise,
b)Be consistent in your action,
c)Your actions should be consistent with your words.

+1,000... From experience it takes a LOOOOONG time for scorps to learn the existence of grey, and in a black & white word a broken promise is just horrific!

Funny wee story is one Christmas my sister and I got pumpkin patch kids from Santa! Awesome except that Santa (Mum) mixed up the dolls... You wouldn't think that would be a massive problem- they're just dolls right? Wrong... One had brown curly hair and the other straight blonde hair. Of course I am brunette and my sister... blonde.
I still cannot describe how totally unfair, frustrating and devastating it was to have the stupid blonde doll. I tried every switcheroo and persuasive argument I could on my sis but she never budged.
