scorp and taurus

hi everyone,
i am a newly single scorpio woman. i have the HOTS big time for a taurus guy.
at this point i am really only looking for a fling. i've never had a taurus before. i guess what i'm asking is should i keep him as a fantasy or should i go for it?

Scorpio woman here......Actually, Scorpio and Taurus can be very dynamic sexually and have great potential for making a good match. Look on the astrology boards for compatability matches for the two, most are very positive. However, remember, he is still a MAN, regardless of his sign. After many years and many disappointments, the one lesson I've learned, which I've not had an opportunity to apply in advance (due to my lustful impatience), is to get to know him FIRST.... don't just hop in the sack because the sparks are flying. I was married to a Taurus who was AWESOME in bed but abusive, both physically and emotionally. I was involved with another Taurus who was very kind and intelligent, but a womanizer. We had sex once a week (and a one-pop shot at that, if you know what I mean..... no longevity) for the entire 5 years we were together.... he was spreading it around so much he didn't have much left for me. So, the lesson is...... do your homework, give the relationship time and don't let your emotions blind you to tale, tale indications that he could be a problem lover.

my female bestfriend is a taurus and my other male friend is a scorp... let me tell you this... its better just to have a fling because its never going to work out long term... it was just pure sexual attraction....

I'm a scorp fem. I had a brief affair with a taurus. From the first moment we locked eyes, I knew that I had to have sex with him...lust at first sight. This was only the third time in my thirty something life that this happened. Anyway, after a few months we got togethr...the sex was absolutly incredable! We were a perfect match in bed..and lots of other places as well!! Outside of the sex there wasn't much. I felt as though he never really understood me..and I found him to be kind of simple. He was always "happy go lucky" and very surface..he never wanted to dicuss or debate anything more interesting then which designer sunglasses he should buy and which was the hottest new night club.

I had a similar experience as the lady above, however my taurus annoyed me for opposite reasons---he was WAAAY too analytical, and always dissecting me and wanting to have huge philosophical discussions about everything, especially our relationship. Ordinarily, I don't mind these qualities, but only in reasonable amounts! Plus, he wouldn't stop pursuing me for years after I ended our relationship, always trying to convince me that we were perfect for each other, even using astrology to back him up! He was kind of a dark cloud in my life. If he would have backed off just a tiny bit, we probably would have been perfect for each other and married by now. But jeez! Too much of a good thing is just too much. I will say that he wasn't a bad person--just too intense, even for this intense Scorpio.

I am a taurus, a female, and I've had the opposite experience from above. I've known more scorpios than any other sign, and I've always had a problem of getting them to leave me alone after a break up. I still am in contact w/ many of them from years a go, they call me. But I can't deny that I don't have some sort of attraction to scorpios also, becuz I've known many, included my closest friends. So maybe opposites do attract...

Yes, I totally get what you're saying. That whole obsessive thing can definitely be exhibited by both scorps and taureans. Opposites do attract--but they also repel! I think (as I've said before in other posts) that it's definitely great when it's good, and awful when it's bad (talking about a Scorp + Taurus relationship). I think it's because although we are opposites, we are also a lot alike in the way that it's hard for us to let go of someone once a bond has formed.

Well that's true in any relationship, isn't it! When it's good, it is; when it isn't....I mean looks fade, but a great friendships only become better with age, right?

I too was involved with a Taurus that is emotionally and physically abusive.He is soooo, possessive I had no life wasn't alloowed to do or go anywhere.The worse part was that he cheated on me regularly.This craziness went on for almost 4 years I now have a restraining order and he wants me back!I am slowly recovering be careful and get to know your taurus

Taureans are definitely possessive. Most are able to keep it in check, but some are not. They are also really hard to fight (argue) with! Any other scorps notice that? I can win almost any argument with anybody, except for this particular taurus in my life. *Very* stubborn and rigidly set in their ways. If they think you should do something, and you don't want to do it (or vice/versa), be prepared for a really intense fight. That has been my experience.

I am a female taurus and I've had similar experiences w/ scorpios. My closest friends are scorpios, but boy, when we fight, we fight. It's like we both need to get the last word in, but us taurus are known for walking away from difficult situations which is usually what I have to do when fighting w/ a scorpio otherwise it will go on forever, although it is somewhat hard becuz I am so stubborn and and will admit I am bothered when I can't get the last word in.

I agree with what Heather said about arguing with a Taurus. I usually come out ahead with other people but with my Taurus man he always gets in the last word! I don't know why this is and it bothers me. As a Scorpio I am not used to losing fights. Hmmm...

one of my best friends in my life is a taureen, she is absolutely stubborn, and very competetive in arguing... she will go on and on until you awknoledge the fact that she is somewhat right.

about scorp and taurus relationships.. i hooked her up with my scorpio friend who had a thing for her. their relationship was intense. i was practically the buffer in keeping their relationship together (i hated that because it was like i was also in their relationship!). but after awhile both got fed up with each other because of my scorp friend's infidelity. they ended up becoming enemies. my taureen bestfriend filed a restraining order and.... lets just say they can't stand each other.

So I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who has experienced this Taurean fight-you-to-the-death phenomenon...they are indeed extremely stubborn and willful. Of course, so are Scorpios, so that explains THAT. I read somewhere (and I might have posted this elsewhere before but I can't remember so here I go again) that "Taurus is THE ONLY SIGN IN THE ZODIAC who can consistently defeat Scorpio in battle". I believe I read that in a book by LInda Goodman. It is so true!

I'm a Taurus Girly! Scorpios are soo intense! They will not leave you alone after ended relationships, that soo true! But they are soo loving and passionate when their in love. I have been attracted to many scorpios in my lifetime and I think that theire wonderful people....If they like you that is. If they don't, RUN FOR THE HILLS! My best friend is a Scorpio and in five years, we have had no fights whatsoever. I don't think that it's totaly true that scorpio and Taurus don't go together. As my mom used to say ( An Aquarious, very filisophical ) where theres a will theres a way! And no matter what people say about scorpio, I'll always love em'..... with all my heart!

Taurus Girly, I also agree. I am a Taurus Female and I mentioned before that I always have to end up "walking away" with arguements with my scorpian friends although it is hard, but we always come together again. I know mostly scorpios than any other sign and I love them to death!!! I have never yet lost a friendship with a scorpio, all who I have known I still know and am good friends with. I guess that results from a Taurus and a Scorpio both not being able to let go easily . My best female friend is a scorpio and all my intense love partners have basically been scorpian men. It seems like it's always a scorpio male who comes up to me and is interested in me for some reasons. Opposites must attract, no doubt! The sex is great too! Scorpios are passionate which is what a Taurus needs.
