I think he does like you, but perhaps just really respects you too much where he knows he camt treat you like the other girls he messes with. You're different, he knows it and knows that he really needs to get himself together to be in a relationship with you perhaps.

Everything just fell out wrong and in the wrong order and I don't know if he understood what I was telling him because I was a mess. It was too fast too because I hear myself tell him that I like him and want to be with him and when I said that he looked like I was threattening him with a chainsaw. And I know I should have stopped then but I started crying and just talked and talked and cried and cried and he stared at me. I am NEVER like this. Then I just turned and ran. I told him that I broke up with my bf in my trainwrecks rant. Before that I didn't talked to him since he got angry. I met him yesterday at a party like you can see in my last post. I can't reach out to him because I don't have his number and after my crazy rant I don't want to be too creepy by being like a stalker or something. What I can do is to try to bump into him when it looks like it was an accident.

Yeah, it's a long thread lol So, I read the first 3 pages and moved here. The way he acted at the beginning was just for fun. Yes, he did care about you as a friend but there was no real connection to anything else. He did it coz he felt good about himself and wanted to express it. And, when you told him you couldn't go out with him coz you already have a boyfriend, he felt sick and must've thought that you deprived him of all the fantasies he was into. You don't really need to ponder or analyze this crazy behavior.
Now that you've dumped your boyfriend, I agree with tegony on his/her comment "Stay around him, show him you care". You'll need to earn his respect and loyalty. It's worth it. But I must also warn you that don't cry or try to garner sympathy from him coz he'll most probably give you a cold shoulder. You must stay strong and show him signs that you can actually LIVE happily without him. It'll attract him towards you. Stay controlled and have a strong grip on your emotions. And, of course, don't be clingy or you'll lose him forever. Keep yourself busy. Go slowly and patiently. Give him his space. Let things evolve naturally. Don't push him or yourself. Since, he's emotionally detached, it might or might not work but it's good to give it a shot. At least, you won't have any regrets in future. 😉
The last thing I want to do is to cry. I never cry. And I don't want to garner sympathy. I really don't like people that do that. It was just so many feelings that I had felt for so long and it just fell out. Sooo embarrassing! You're right!
I'm not clingy, so that's no problem and I'm very busy with school and friends and family and christmas and everything. I will stay around him, show him I care when I see him. I have to give it a shot or I will hate myself. But I know he's probably not interested. But I can try.

Just give him some time to get over his hurt and animosity. But don't Lose focus on yourself, take care of you always. In the meantime when you see him, be nice to him. All these misunderstanding

I don't remember how he said it, because I was shocked, but he said that he was interested(YESSSS!!!!!) but he had something to say. When we have met before he has been telling me about what he doesn't like about people in relationships. It's just games and cheating and now he said it again.

Exactly like hidden kiwi said it's ulterior or hidden motives u jut find out about. A majority of Scorp males BC I have more experience with them than females always tend not to say much and listen rather than talk at first. They want to see what you are about. It's always me doing more of the talking. In group settings it is more noticeable.
