Scorpio man and Capricorn woman

I met this scorp on a dating website. We live in different countries so we've never met in person. Initially he seemed really interested. He wouldn't ask me if I was still using the site, but he regularly checked my last online status, I think. We have a lot in common but sometimes we struggle to carry on conversation.

I kind of got bored of the dating site, and I think he could tell I wasn't active on it anymore. So he was more.. tender during our last skype meeting. He told me about some of his sexual likes which I was cool with. And he also said we should watch this movie together and downloaded it for me.

But maybe starting from 2 days after this, he seems like he's maybe found someone else, because he would be active on fb messenger but take a while to message me or whatever. However, I'm confused because when he knew I might be busy, he said 'it's okay if we can't meet. I'll still be here 🙂'

Is he losing interest and should I cut my losses or is he testing me? I would post this on the relationships forum too, but I just wanted to be sure.

I just.. I'm just tired of getting hurt.

I would focus on meeting someone in my own country/area. I haven't been on a dating site in a long time but aren't there filters you can set to only see people that are within a certain number of miles from you?

Realistically, long distance relationships are really hard, especially when in totally different countries. And that's when you've actually met the other person and know them well.

I just don't understand becoming emotionally attached to someone you've never met in real life. They could be the complete opposite of who they say they are. It doesn't take a lot of effort to sell someone a dream.

It's good that at least you've Skyped although I wouldn't call a sexual conversation with a stranger "tender". I just always think of the show Catfish when I hear about people falling in love with internet strangers and couldn't allow myself to go there.

I would just agree to be strictly friends or nothing at all if I were in your situation and let go of the expectation of something more developing.
