Caia, thank you! Yes, he is probably looking for Capricorn traits in a girl, but I lack earth. Hope a cardinal Aries would work. 😄 I'm childish and a procrastinator though, but persistant and ambitious. Interesting moon placement, I've read these people find it hard receiving and giving affection, but are quite sensitive inside.

What is confusing to me though is that usually scorpios especially with capricorn moon are private and detached, but after our second conversation he just started talking about love, flings, his need for privacy and such things. It seemed like he wanted to see my reaction and attitude towards flings (which is negative) because this fling thing came out of nowhere...thought he was only interested in that...

Given what you've written to describe yourself, what do you think he was doing? Scorps are quite good at picking up when someone is guarded. We don't announce everything we see, we just make note of it and proceed accordingly. As a result, Scorps are even better at getting others to reveal things about themselves without realizing it.
In all honesty, your approach is confusing and will result in a lot of dancing around with this man. If he bothers to entertain you for much longer. The man hasn't done anything to break your trust and yet he's being treated as such. I'd seriously work on that "stuff" you're carrying around if you would like to be happy with someone in the future.

So....he brings up "flings", you aren't into flings, yet you say nothing??
Why is that? To keep him around while enhancing your confusion? ANY MAN who brings up flings & love in the same sentence, you should make clear IMMEDIATELY where you stand. Wouldn't that be easier? I just don't get how some women think any more I really don't.

Yes, men with capricorn moon are extremely sensitive inside and they're shy. They also tend to be very pessimistic so be the Aries that you are and be playful. It will open him up more and help him let his guard down. Make him smile, tease him (but DO NOT make fun of him - he's sensitive) and just joke around.
You need to be a mix of playful but serious (when it comes to your goals in life).
It's ok to be guarded with your feelings for now. You don't know the guy, right? You'll know he's starting to let loose when he starts being playful with you too. They love goofing around and they can be very funny. Sarcasm is what they do best.
If he wants to meet up, great. Meet up with him. Ask him questions about himself, show interest and slowly you'll start to see the real him. Just be patient. It won't happen in a flash so make sure when you're not with him, you're focusing on your life goals or hanging out with your friends.
If he likes you, he'll always come back - you'll hear from him more often - which I'm sure your Cancer moon will just love!
Thank you very much, Caia! Do you have Capricorn moon? I find Capricorn and Virgo moon very hard to read. Taurus moon seems simpler to me probably because it resembles Cancer moon in particular aspects.
I'm seeing a sag sun with Scorpio venus and a Capricorn moon. A very complex placement but once you are in his inner circle, he's very very affectionate towards me and very sensitive towards my needs. He can read my like a book , he's been great at supporting my goals and my success lately... Wheather that will b buying a car or succeeding in a job etc...
