^^^ THIS! I have a gemini guy friend I've known since gradeschool, and he's funny, but sometimes ANNOYING because he gets too touchy feely. He gets elbowed and kicked in the shin a lot.....which ironically he likes (he's a submissive masochist).
I also know a scorpio woman who really doesn't like to be touched much, not even by those close to her. She takes her personal space very personally.
As for my own preference, I love to be touched, but I do have boundaries in regards to who, and how. Above all it has to be classy, especially in public. If I'm in pain I don't like to be touched, but it depends on the type of pain. If I'm sick I want cuddles, if I'm dealing with a migraine, tooth ache, etc. then no being touched. Oddly, I like to bite, but people don't seem to like being bit. Blargen.
In my experience Scorpio women don't like PDA if you are alone then its okay but touching them in public ya that doesn't fly. Cancers are not as bad as a Scorpio not sure if you can say Scorp women are prudes, I'm far from touchy feely I don't hug people my personal space is wide.
I find Geminis a little more friendly my female gem friends are touchy feely Gem guys think they are such studs they can do what ever they please.

If you can't feel free to express yourself with your partner, both within reason and in private, what's the point?
No wonder divorce rates are soaring. No wonder dissatisfied partners are cheating.

No, you cannot feel free to express yourself either way you want when it involves someone else's personal space. It is not by definition, "you right" just bc they are your partner.
Hate to say it, but your friend is a jerk. This isn't about touching.It's about boundaries for her. Yet, he keeps trying to force things to be how he wants and it's not fair.

Right she has been done wrong in the past. She is definitely into me even though it's kinda hard to read sometimes because she is admittedly clingy and I push for distance. She just wants to hang out and talk and flirt and be goofy... Go out and eat etc. I don't like doing that all the time with any one especially not in an actual official relationship.

We don't ACTUALLY know she told him nothing. She MIGHT have said "Don't touch me in public like you do at home." or "Jesus stop pawing me all the time". We have NO idea. Sure...we don't know what her deal is. Maybe she has some past issues or may be not. Maybe...she is just a frigid bitch, or may be not...
One thing for certain...she can't communicate her feelings and if she had , then the guy may not keep burning his hand on the stove and have to deal with constantly feeling rejection (usually if you aren't getting mixed signals then you learn your lesson ehh?)
