Ok, I watched this whole programme from start to finish last year (5 months). I love the idea of two groups of people being shipwrecked on two opposing islands..

I will include a link for you all.

http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/S/shipwrecked/teams/<BR>
I read the star signs of each player, and knowing their basic personality types I wanted to see how they all interacted with each other and what they accomplished as a team and individuals on each island for 5 months.

This year, so far the self proclaimed leaders on each island are as follows:

Girls (Tiger Island) - Virgo and her right hand lady is Cancer
Guys (Shark Island) - Leo and his right hand man is Scorpio..

I want to see how these positions change. There are two Scorpio men on the Shark island, two Leos, a gemini, a virgo at the moment..

On the Tiger island there is a Libra, Cancer, Virgo, Leo, Leo

I don't know if you guys are able to see this programme in the US..but I am thoroughly looking forward to another series of Shipwrecked..

Last years winners were Sharks with the Virgo and Pisces as leaders. I honestly thought, throughout the whole programme that the Tigers, headed by Capricorn would win..He built that camp like I have never seen before..it looked perfect and he worked his team real hard but there was no real bonding..while on the other side, Virgo was all about helping, understanding and also working..It was fantastic..Funny thing was, I supported Sharks all the way from the beginning. It started out with the leader being a Pisces guy on Shark Island..Then Virgo took over..

Great to watch..

haa haa...indeed if therez some incentive for taking a plunge 😉

I know cap males dont bond - cold and heartless. And they make the whole affair so process-centric that they leave no room for innovations. No wonder we share a hare-tortoise relationship with them.

"that the island had more of a family feel to it, everyone laughed, joked and had fun TOGETHER"

Hmmm...I alwayz thot that a scorp female wud eventually prefer "bonding" over "achievement".Obviously she wud be smart enuf to look for the package in stead..LOL. Admiration is something different.

I can understand that Scorpio woman's plight though having only two choices available and that too btwn a virgo and a cap 😛

"all areas of life covered, responsbility, maturity, humour, fun, respect"

Looks like a matrimonial insert.

BTW watz the concept behind this ship-wrecked program ?...Wat skills are tested ...Is there any public opinion angle to this too ?

"Looks like a matrimonial insert" - LOL..Oh dear, looking at matrimonial sites again are we? 😛

I guess its a test of survival, building from basics, human interaction, structure, logistics..etc..In this case..how humans go from luxury to the very basics of life..how they survive, rebuild etc..I watch it precisely for this concept..you know how I said I like new beginnings..well imagine being here..starting from scratch..how would you go about it?..Its fascinating..

There is no public intervention. Not like Big Brother where they vote for the person they wish to evict etc..its all down to the individuals on the island..

"Good analysis..but I don't think he is..He's intimidated by the lads..put it that way, felt more comfortable for the first 3 days on the chick island..but he chose the lads island in the end..why??..I think to prove he isn't no pussycat.."

Perhaps, but it looks like he's not very comfortable with the idea of failure, which may be his undoing if things will start going badly.

"You can be extra smug by having a back up plan.."

LOL....Please wud U do it for me ? 😛

Jokes apart...Chalking out a contingency plan limits Ur resources as U cant then plan to Ur full capacity. I agree that itz a must if U r in for a long-drawn war. IMO, point where U start putting back-up plans in place, U assume that no further improvements in Plan A are possible. I know there are real limitations to everything though.
