Taurus and Scorpio Advice?

Hi Everyone, I'm new to here.
I would appreciate some insight from all of you.
I've been seeing a Scorpio off and on for a few months now.
We met thru work. He made all advances towards me, which I accepted. We are keeping this quiet at work.

Now I've read that Scorpios don't like people who seem
clingy. (Yes, true Taurus I can be like that only because I like to spend time with him.) He has never said anything to that effect towards me that he felt I am. We seem to get together every few weeks.
We have alot in common, yet I find him so reserved at times. Sharing only so much with me in talking carful not to divulge too much. One minute he seems hot with me, others he seems cold. Such as today I asked if he'd like to get together sometime this weekend. His email reply was short and to the point "Nope busy this weekend. Have a good one!"
At times I really get the impression that he is afraid of me, to avoid getting hurt. (He was recently divorced.)
Othertimes, me may say things to me which would imply he is jealous the statement would be of one well "do whatever I don't" type of attitude maybe to protect his true feelings? I don't know....
I believe for him he does have feelings there for me, but he's afraid to admit to them.
Help? Advice? I really like him.

>>Ah, this game...I know it well. In fact going through it now with a Scorp. What I do when a Scorp starts being too busy for me, is I get too busy for him and sort of disappear. He'll come looking for you. Whether or not you want to be busy when he asks is up to you. If he knows he has you on a string and can have you whenever he wants, he'll lose interest and you'll be on an emotional roller coaster ride.

I appreciate your advice. I believe your right about all of that. I've been thinking about just backing off for a while now to see what he does. I'm pretty sure he'll come back looking for me. Funny, just a few weeks ago we had a bit of a discussion about a few things between us. I told him I felt he should be the one chasing me, and not the otherway around as I didn't like doing that. I have a lot of patience being a Taurus, so I'll bide my time...

yeah scorps dont like clingy thats a major turn off well for me anyways, but also dont ignore us .
