ok, my parents are divorced. so i have to go to two family things, and leave in the middle of one and show up halfway thru another. i tried to explain to them that it wasn't nice to make me choose, but neither wanted to bend. so i had to agree to go to both. and both of them are gonna have 30+ people (extended family and such) so that's double the suffocating awkwardness of chillin' w/family members i barely recognize.
