What decision should I make?

Hi. Yesterday I posted a topic but for some reason nobody saw it. I'll try to be as brief as I can. I'm talking to a Scorpio guy long distance and he keeps giving me mixed signals. Sometimes he makes me believe he cares about me and other times he's really cold. When he's cold I get hurt because I like him a lot so I don't know how to handle his behavior anymore. Since he's not constant and I'm not sure if he likes me, I've thought about moving on and forget about him. But I honestly don't know what's worst of these two situations.

(A) Forgetting about an awesome Scorpio who has many things in common with me and has qualities I've always liked in a guy.

(B) Continue talking to the Scorpio even though he's going to hurt me with his moods and behavior.

Can you help me make a decision? I really would like to continue talking to him but is it fair to get hurt? I've even cried because I'm sensitive (I'm a Pisces) so sometimes its too much for me. I know with Scorpios you have to be patient, deal with their mind games, and such but can someone tell me if it's really worth all the suffering?? Or should I just let him go?? I don't know what decision to make and how can I avoid getting hurt if I decide to continue talking to him...

C) Don't try to forget about him and live your life and perhaps get over him while you do it.
