TLS, this is a very good observation with the Leo. I would agree with you. I think sometimes I've thought of or found Leo a bit too childish or demanding but looking at it differently I can see it might go rather well.

The attention thing is a good one. My Leo Mars does like a prideful, smart, dignified, confident fella on my arm. Not in a shallow way. It just turns me on. They don't have to be models. Just have something about them. Perhaps the flattery/control thing could be good too. Interesting about the Sept. Leo thing. Definitely could see compatibility in the humor area as well. Every Leo I've ever met is quick-witted and really funny. I've met Leos that are so sarcastic and funny in such a creative way, that it is intimidating, kinda similar to your sense of humor, which is aggressive and highly weaponized...hahaha. I think you def. need someone who can sort of match you in that regard, or you are going to wind up whipping them mercilessly, especially when you're overly sensitive or paranoid, and wind up doing irreversible ego damage...

The initial incompatibilities might revolve around the amount of attention Leos naturally get from other people, and your ability to share. I think, with your ViS, you'd have to be REALLY secure in how he felt about you; he'd really have to know and appreciate you on a very deep level, where you knew that he understood that you are unique and completely irreplaceable, so you could be more comfortable trusting and sharing to some degree, being a fan and even ultimately truly enjoying and enhancing their performance and energy (instead of lurking in the background plotting their assassination after the show...hahaha). I've seen Leos that are caged up and reclusive with their partners, but they are usually really damaged (often by the partner that locks them down). They really come alive when they can give/receive affection from others. It doesn't have to be in a way that is unnecessarily intimate with others if they get that affection in abundance from you, and in a more genuine/honest way that they actually appreciate more (e.g. when they know you really love them deeply for the real and whole person - not just what they portray). I think probably no other Venus is capable of that depth of genuine adoration as you so perfectly described it. And you'd just have to have that maturity/flexibility, being willing to love them in a way that is best for them.

Well I never intended to make a 'soul mate' type thread. I generally don't discuss personal stuff with family or friends at home. I just deal with it all myself. I think on here I've not communicated much about me and what I'm looking for etc as there's not been much call for it. I've discussed certain things but not others. I've either not thought about it or it's just not come up. I've only put some stuff as its come up I suppose. Perhaps I'll make more threads and waffle more!

I understand what you're saying about not caging. I think I'd be ok with that to be fair. My possessiveness is nice but only for someone who appreciates it. I don't think I have an issue with my other half gaining attention or enjoying attention from others as I'd appreciate its more on a superficial level and the genuine level is with me. If the dude needs to get 25% of his tank full by basking in being centre of attention etc then that's fine by me. No assassination required!! I see it as I'd provide the core attention, the bulk of it, and have a 25% rest. As long as he comes home to me then it's cool. Obviously if he comes home to me via someone else then Nikita type tendencies will prevail.

LOL! I hear you. I would never do a vision board because its way too cheesy. And I don't even know how much I believe in the Law of Attraction, certainly not to the extent that some New Agers do. I watched the popular documentary called The Secret on it; I couldn't even get through it. A lot of people are really convinced that putting the intention out there and visualization really will attract what you want though - that the Universe is that interactive, that we co-create reality through intention, etc. I partially buy into the notion to some extent, but on a different level, not so much in terms of getting things or people you want. HOWEVER, I still am blown away by what happened on AB's thread...lol. Its still a miracle to me. So I was just thinking, if you are cheesy enough to do it, like some Scorps I know, you should try something new.

Frankly, I'd like a relationship where I don't feel paranoid or have to question things. I spend most of the time in that mode at work. It's tiring.

Stability is one of the qualities at the top of my wish list. I thought about it more this year. Stability makes the paranoia go quiet and the untrusting disappear. Stability is or might be more soothing to a Scorp or certainly to me. It might make the radar search less and turn the 'on' button to off.

I'm not sure in what form or how I'd like stability. I'll think about that next. I don't think stability is the same as loyalty or caring etc.

I do tend to hear from Scorp women a lot, that their bulls have a soothing/calming/grounding effect on them though. I think, really, any sign that a Scorp woman winds up with, it would really help if he has decent knowledge of Astrology....That whole "assuming the negative" in the beginning of a relationship, seems to be a really common Scorp characteristic that is very confusing to more trusting/optimistic types.....

The 'assuming the negative' is more of an 'assuming the reality' in my opinion.

It's a bit of a catch 22 because if you're always assuming the worst then you'll likely attract the worst and that's what you'll end up with but its not always a case of that.

When someone has a particular pattern of behaviour then common sense tells you to look at that to see the future outcome. If someone has lied 9 times out of 10 then the chances are the next time they say or do something it will fall into the 9/10 category rather than the 1/10 category. Then they get pissed off you don't believe or trust them.

Well would you trust you? No. That's the reality.

People think you're fucked up by choosing abortion but I think it's more fucked up by bringing a kid into this world when you're not mature or responsible enough and can't support yourself, and you're not in a stable relationship plus the dude already has a bunch of kids already. It's just another case of everyone saying 'oh it's ok, mistakes happen, allow everyone else to pay for your kid'. A condom would have been less than £1!

Loads of prospects... I was considering the importance of maybe finding someone for a relationship and all that but I feel quite content to bum about a bit more for the next year and just see what happens. I don't feel any real sense of urgency. This is a GOOD thing! I've lots on with work and I've got a shed load of travelling coming up so I feel if someone comes along then it would be a slower process.

He didn't want to at first so I told him if he didn't do it then his big sisters wouldn't take him quad biking! Meanie!! Anyway, the dude took us for a city tour on our last day and it turned out he quite liked me. Result! We had a very pleasant evening ☺ï¸ Frankly, I wasn't a hard target! We are still in touch but I don't think I'm interested enough!

Hmmm... Let me see 😕

This man would physically have to be tall (6' +), athletic looking - Aaah, just the typical tall, dark & handsome.

In personality: outgoing with the ability to hold a deep conversation as well.

Ego can and perhaps should be low. Pisces or Taurus-like. BUT have the inner strength and maturity to shut her up when she's gone too far.
