Friends with cuddle benefits. Odd?

Aries lady here, taurus gent. We both established we aren't looking for a relationship and that we are friends. Cuddle buddies; and that is where I drew the line.
I've never heard of anyone with a similar situation so I was wondering about your opinions. Can this be just that?

I had a relationship like that with a Virgo/Leo cusper a few years back. I was recently out of my relationship with "The Leo" and I wasn't ready for much of anything. I met this guy and we were in the same place emotionally. We got together one night to have cheap and meaningless sex but neither of us could go through it. We ended up talking and cuddling instead that night and for like a year we only did that and feelings never became an issue. We'd just call each other up when we wanted "our blanket" as we called each other. He's married now but we're still friends (sans cuddling) and I will always have love for him because he was EXACTLY what I needed at that time. It can work if everyone involved is in the same place mentally. That's my story at least! Good luck!

Taurus are not ones to cross the line on something agreed upon, BUT that's if he's able to keep his feelings at bay. If he starts feeling something for you, you may start noticing that he's holding you a little too tightly until you curl backwards and snaps your back lol

Haha! Since we've started this engagement he has gotten more "affectionate" When cuddling he holds me a little tighter and caresses me with his thumb. The hugs goodbye are still gently but closer and longer. But I just figured he's gotten more comfortable with me.

Omg, please dont bring back memories. My Taurus friend said he was going to give me a bear hug, so i asked for it when he dropped me home. He lifted me and hugged so tight it felt like my breast popped. Im sure my chest flattened a bit that night. Very painful experience lol.

I think id like a cuddle buddy. Thats a cute idea.

what is your definition of cuddle buddies in context of your taurus? why do you guys want to be cuddle buddies? it can happen that you feel affection for someone and end up cuddling. but why would you talk about it, about being cuddle buddies?

Well I think he started off wanting to date me.. but I just got out of a relationship and hes 18 (I'm 22) so I panicked and threw every red flag in the book and asked after a particularly nice evening "You dont like me RIGHT?" To which he became much more cold and said " Im not looking for a relationship ( Maybe he just wants the goods?) We get along great and its always so much fun... And Ive felt particularly needy so I asked if we could be cuddle buddies. to which he said "Sounds good to me" I then said but thats as far as you get.

He's definitely respected the boundaries... So Im not so concerned... Except being a crazy prideful lady I now want him to want me.. (CRAZY I KNOW)
Cuz well why wouldn't he Im hot shit! ( hot enough lol aries self confidence and challenge)

I just suggested it to get the physical closeness I desire without risking emotional loss.


I have no idea why he agreed but for someone not wanting a relationship he's spending an awful lot of time with me.

As long as this is what you both want and nothing more, and neither of you become over stimulated...I don't see why it couldn't work. Taurus should be a very willing and capable partner. 😉

I love cuddling, even with my best (girl) friend I really enjoy physical intimacy like cuddling or foot massages. I don't know how long I could -just- cuddle with a guy though.

haha hes VERY sensual sometimes and it IS hard to resist. My venus is in taurus so I get all a tingle with the light caresses.

Oh, I commend you guys who can just cuddle! As a Leo, it's all or nothing. I'm not strong enough to do that. If I don't feel anything for that person I'm cuddling with, he won't touch me... but then if I feel too much, it's lead to more than just cuddling! 🙂

Everything about this screams that it'll lead to more than cuddling. I cannot cuddle for weeks on end without starting the 'oh boy, that's not my phone' issue. Plus the fact that you're holding someone tight, it relaxes you, calms the nerves & brain, does all sorts of chemical things up there and before you know it.. you're craving it badly to cuddle more and harder.
