Taurus but not having Taurus tendencies

Why Some Taurus Individuals Don't Show Typical Traits

Not all Taurus individuals display traditional Taurus traits. Personal experiences, upbringing, and individual differences can influence how Taurus qualities manifest. Some Taurus people may not exhibit the usual stubbornness or practicality, making their personality unique despite their zodiac sign.

Me me me. People think I'm either an Aries or Scorpio. No one ever guesses Taurus.

I get Aries more than Scorpio. Probably my Aries mercury shining through.

I think when it comes to relationships I have Taurus qualities; don't jump into relationships fast,

Real slow to commit, possessive, stubborn.

Other than that, I don't feel like I'm very Taurus-like. I feel more like a water sign (probably because of my moon)

I've found many of the descriptions written for Taurus Suns to be off anyway, so I'm never surprised when another Taurus pops up saying they don't identify with it.

They think I'm a Gemini.

Attribute this to my Gemini Moon.

I don't have those specific stereotypical traits associated with being a Bull.(I'm a Bull in regards to everything else).

1. I'm not materialistic

2. I hate fast food, or junk food of any sort, I prefer to eat clean, organic and Caribbean.

3. I'm not lazy, I love to exercise, stay fit, and keep active.

4. I'm also a liiberal, activist, a chronic bookworm (avid reader).

This is where my Moon collaborates with my Sun.

1. I'm an old soul with an ecclectic appreciation.

2. Give me an old record player vs expensive music equipment any day.

3. I would rather purchase Langston Hughes' brownstone than to live in some huge pointless mansion.

4. I don't support the purchase of diamonds. Exploit a country's natural resources, and you will not see a penny from me. Give me a 1930's vintage ring with sentimental value. Some things are just priceless.

In general I'm pretty detached and keep everyone at arm's length. I care about them but it's easier for me that way. But like a Taurus I love working, cooking, eating, and sex! And I'm a total homebody. 😉

Yup. And my Venus is in Aries. I always feel confused about what I want and what the hell I'm doing with my life these days!

Yeah this may be another thing. My venus, Mercury, and sun is all Taurus. I look at it like Gemini, Aries can take it out there somewhere maybe out of control. Those placements arent who I am. I have none just one of those could have wrecked me...maybe and thats just me. As much Taurus as I can get for me...and even then it has taken time to get in my stride so to speak. Also people who are right in the cusp very close may actually be the other sign...who knows how accurate the record keeping was. A few things.

Interesting.. I'm Aries/Taurus cusp. My mom was an Aries... I do have a lot of those traits
