Taurus man moving turtle slow

Been talking to a Taurus for almost a year at the end of December. We've text, video chat, he calls every night on his way to work, he requires that I text him when I make it home from work or after leaving wherever I am, to know that I'm safe. The problem is we've only met once and we only stay an hour away from each other. He hasn't tried to see me since then but continues to do the same with calls and text. He wants me to plan a trip for us, but I'm not understanding how he feels about me, considering he flirts with this girl on social media. He says it's nothing and he's just messing around. I don't understand him.

I'm always straight forward, I would pour out my heart to him but he's very closed with his feelings about me. It's been a while since he's expressed his emotions towards me. He does share his problems and looks to me for advice or just to be a listening ear or give encouraging words.

If he doesn't share his feelings and emotions with you openly/fully then there is something holding him back. I would say that after 1 year he should do it if he wants and goes for you. Otherwise there is something that holds him to.

Be straight forward indeed, ask it directly and you should get a honest answer probably.

In dating a Taurus, hes so slow also, but im able to kick him into action.

Yes we are kinda slow at the start but when we really like you then you should notice it (and things might go faster). Especially in 1 year time you both should know by now which way you want to go.

An hour away isn't that far imo. 1 x over 12 months = he's not that into you.

Also calling you when he's driving to and from work makes me think that he can't call you at home cause his gf/wifee is around...

If he flirts with other women and calls it 'nothing' I would be thinking his flirtation with me is also 'nothing'.

What medium is he texting/video calling you from? His phone? Or another app that is more untraceable so he can hide his online flirtations from wifee.

He's definitely single, I've talked to him while he's been at home and video chat. We video chat through fb only because I don't have an iPhone. He doesn't flirt with me on social media. I do know he is heavily involved in his son's life and the one time I met him I also met his son and I've video chatted with him and his son before.

Be straight forward and tell him what you want/ask what he wants. You cant be mad at him for flirting with other people online if you've been talking to others too. Just be direct with Taurus, they appreciate it

Ok here's an update: I've met an Aries and he's been consistent and persistent. The communication is awesome between the 2 of us. He's handsome, charming, caring, and he knows what he wants. He makes me smile. Im in a good space right now with the Aries. I guess the Taurus sensed something because now he's been texting me sending memes to express himself. I still like him a lot but he's not ready for a mature relationship. Yes he takes care of his son and works hard, but he doesn't know how to build into a relationship. His attempts are weak and I've been ignoring him, giving him a dose of how he use to treat me. It's not intentional, it's just my focus is else where and no longer on him. You haven't been out on dates yet? From the looks of it, he seems to have some interest but not really that interested. Any other signs that shows his interest in you?

Taurus flirts with many girls, esp when he hasn't confirmed a girl.
