from the outside looking in i don't think they are all that confident. they are insecure, very hard on themselves and not always willing to proceed unless they are certain of the outcome.

then again, i am not a taurus but it just my observation.

When people say stuff like this, we get mad at the slight truth to it, then get really stubborn and decide to be extremely confident...lol.

Yes overall I would say we are a confident bunch!! We do a lot of thinking and planning so we do what we need to do and we get to where we need to be with certainty even if there are times of immense struggle, hardship and heavy crosses to bear!

We are not "worriers" as we are pretty practical and keep a positive attitude that things with work out in the end!! My leo moon says "I may be in dog poop right now but I know that is not where I am going to end up"! And my leo rising says: "I may be in dog poop right now but I don't have to look as if I am "!

So your Leo stuff mimics the Taurus stuff?

Triggers this reaction^^^^

My insecurities drive me to perfection with absolute certainty.

My drive and fierce determination combats fear.

It's done with poise, grace and no complaints.

This explains our calm demeanor, the ability to find a solution to any given problem without resorting to anxiety.

The only thing I really worry about, is Quakes, specifically the Cascadia and San Andreas Faults. The Cascadia is the potentially worst of the two, it's got 30 times the maximum force of the San Andreas and it's currently locked and loaded. Cascadia is a convergent boundary plate which separates the Juan De Fuca and North American plates IE. the one's my continent sits upon. Conservative USGS computer models put it at a 9.2 Magnitude with 4 + minutes of continuous shaking, Liquefaction is expected. Even if people survived the crippling Quake, the 700 Mile Tsunami triggered as a result, with minimum of 100 foot waves will ensure mass destruction..

It's for this reason that everything West of our Highway 5 is expected to be completely lost. Those not in the know, this includes the entire San Francisco Bay Area, which includes part of four counties, and over 10 cities. It's not a question of IF, but rather WHEN. People say, oh well that's simple move away! But they fail to realize the implications of such an event occurring, this will send repercussions through out the world, Japan will get taken out by the same Tsunami. LOL.

When I was training for CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) I used to blow it off, and laugh about it cause I couldn't imagine such an event happening, but after recent quakes I have changed my tune. Sure I'm prepared, got my mass casualty triage kit, enough body bags for all my neighbors, 12 month supply of food and water, Ham Radio, medical supplies, and weapons. But at the end of the day, will any of it really matter?

Aside from Life ending Disasters, I'm slick as ice, baby!

Sure Taurus' may find themselves in a slur or emotional pit at times but in general Taurus has a pretty optimistic demeanour. Combine this with practicality and you have a pretty driven mind-set on your hands. I think I have a bit more water in me than fire, despite having a fiery ascendant. No matter, because despite what's going on in my life, or how heavy it may seem at the time, I will rise to the occasion. Especially if someone else needs me. Stability is so important to us that we feel we owe it to ourselves and those close to us to at least lead by example. Oh and when a Taurus finds direction and an objective, there's no shopping them
