This. It's one thing to do things cause your SO likes them, but they're more likely to genuinely enjoy the real you, and if they don't, why would you want someone who doesn't think you're so much fun!?

doing what makes you happy should not mean sacrificing who you are, what you want for yourself and what you deserve. you have only one life, this is your only shot to have what brings you authentic happiness. please don't settle for anything less then wonderful.
