My ex bro-in-law is a classic Taurus, talked a good game for shutting you up but he'd go back on his word more often than not. I don't trust them.

The Taurus I know has consistently followed through or will at least find a workaround. For instance, if we had a meetup to see a movie, but an important obligation came up that would cause him not to make the movie time he will push the time to later rather than a reschedule if both are possible in the same day. However, if he has to reschedule he picks out a specific date and time and place versus a vague open time frame. So if the movie was for at 2:00pm then he would arrive at 1:30pm. And he has never committed to anything he knows he can’t.
In fact, I thought our last encounter he’d flake out because he was undergoing some personal problems even though he was the one who asked me to go, but he never had a hint of flight. I believe if you are of importance to them they’ll rearrange their schedule/priorities for you.

That's exactly me. If i consider you important or a good friend I'll never cancel and always find a way to work it out. I mean even if i gotta find someone and pay them to do what I said I would and can't do, it's getting done. But if I'm at all skeptical about you, then I'll change my mind at any time and just try to be polite about it.

Taureans will move heaven and earth to keep their word, if someone or something is important to them, though it may take them a while for them to get to that stage. A Taurus takes his/her promises seriously. That's my experience anyway.
