What does he mean

I have a very close (male) Taurus friend. He is adorable. We went out years and years ago when we were kids and have drifted in and out of each other's lives ever since.
Recently we have floated back into a group of friends together. We have always been close and trusted each other but recently he has been saying he loves me in front of everyone. He is saying it in a friendship way but I wonder why he feels he has to annouce this to the world. He alsi mentioned out of the blue sleeping with me would make him sick because we are such good friends. But thoughts like that would never cross my mind because I genuinely see him as a friend.

I don't have much experience with Tauras even though my mother was one I can't really get a grasp of you guys. Could anyone shed some light

Must be a girl thing? I hear a lot of girls act as if that kind of conversation is awkward to them? You should expect things like that, especially from a Taurus MALE. Forget the fact that he's a Taurus... emphasis on HE. We're going to talk about things like this no matter how intimate the relationship is with a female. Because it doesn't bother us. I know Taurus males to be blunt with there thoughts and even with there feelings sometimes... my brother is one and so is my best friend. So you can expect that. If he accepts that he's just a friend to you... He's going to talk about things like that, trust me, because thats how us men are--no holds barred.

if it were me I would say something like that to someone I felt was interested in me and I wanted to make it clear I didn't feel the same way.... he is probably trying to let you know that he considers you a valuable friend by telling you [and all your freinds] that he loves.... thereby softening the blow of following up with an announcement that he doesn't want more than a friendship.....

When I sense that someone has feelings for me that I don't have for them I will be blunt about the fact that I don't feel that way about them, but not by saying " I know you like me and I don't feel the same" I would make it clear without indicated that I suspect how they feel unless they actually say it...as this friend of yours has done to you.....

My taurus male said that to me also, but before he did we broke up, and he said "i'm sorry i havent been honest with myself". Then i had his 2nd daughter(my 1st)and he claimed we would work things out and be together when he was ready to. Me being the emotional, sometimes jealous and insecure Cancer betrayed him by messing one of his material items. Now he said the "i'm sorry..." line again, in addition to him not having chemistry with me any more, said that he is going to be miserable and work things out with the 1st daughter's mother. I apologized as sincerely as I could. He and I are pretty much friends as well as partents who still get along now. I still want us to get back together, but i understand that the taurus male (not sure about the women) will only move and make changes when he's ready and i maybe in for a long wait! Or is it worth the wait?

B4 our relationship started goin down hill we were great. We definately got along but we both played the shy role. They definately take time to build their relationships and i wasnt patient enough to wait back then and i am now but he has moved on and im still here holdin on... You will know if he's in2 you or not also. Also he'll start to get a lil controling sort to speak, he called me one night at about 3 am to ask how a comedy show was and how my night was going. i cant think of n e one who would just randomly call to ask that question. usually if the other person know ur goin out they may wait til the next day or wait 4 u to call them.

One day i want to pick up our daughter from him at his parents house, My truck door had trouble staying locked b/c it was off the hinges. so he came into the house and said "let me see ur keys" so i gave them 2 him w/o asking and there he was trying to fix the lock on my door. And it worked but only temporary.

Another time we were outside talkin 4ever and it saarted raining. a lot, but he continued to keep talking. during the convo i said he needed to go inside b/c he was getting wet and i was in my truck. He stood out there and kept talking. If he wasnt interested he wouldnt have done either of those things.
