I just finished watching the first season and to my surprise it was rather good. I'm just disappointed that the season's ending was not more audacious.
I liked that they created a rich environment with so many SF threads to explore:
-alien invasion
-cybernetics/AI
-space exploration
-dystopian society/corporations/terrorism
-that japanese mutant badguy
This guarantees a good amount of different possible scenarios within the same universe if only the second season doesn't suck (I'm not holding my breath)
