it's difficult to avoid in an open concept house.

Bougie af!

I hate them. But Charlotte is almost nothing but 1990s open concept stuff.

I call that shit cutting corners.

I agree. Put 33% less materials into the house, call it open concept, and charge the same or more.

Houses need the same number of support beams and load bearing walls regardless.

False.

Assuming the same footprint and roofline, yes.

Interior walls don't matter. We've already looked into changing our interior layout.

Maybe for a single story?

Okay nevermind.. a single 48' 2x12 LVL is $ 216.

Studs, i-joists, and floor sheathing would trump that.

No 2 story houses for us.

Between small dogs and our advanced old ass age, we ain't fucking with no steps.

Originally we wanted a basement, but seeing as virtually every house that has a basement has the laundry in the basement, we nixed that.

No need for a basement if you don't get tornados.

I only watch rassling and golf. Most of the time I spends most of my free time tuning my ears to music and playing my guitars.

I don't care much for televisions at all. What they don't show on TV no more I watch them on my phone. And TVs is the one thing I would never spend my money on. I'd rather go dumpster diving for TVs first.

Edit:

You know the old saying? One mans trash is another mans treasure?

It is on all the time but I'm not usually watching it.

I like the background noise.

It just doesn't hold my attention anymore.

Aries, Sagittarius, Scorpio

This pretty much me

I watch the news in the morning while I feed the baby/before I get ready for work and then again while I’m winding the babies down for bed at night after their baths we watch an episode of Shark Tank a lot of times or the Office.

I could watch the Office all day and it wouldn’t get old though

Do people still have cable?

I got dish. Its the same as cable only more channels. I rarely watch it. My woman and daughter watch it more than I do. I got my own TV and its rarely ever on except on Monday nights and Friday nights and when I'm in the mood to watch golf. I watch YouTube more than anything. I'm really paying cable bill for them.

Monday and Friday nights is my rasslin nights.
