For most, yes..

I didn't have much sensations in my nipples to begin with, and piercings did nothing to improve it. I like the way they look though. I'll probably get them done for the 3rd time eventually.

God NO!! I can't even imagine.. I remember one of my girlfriends getting me to agree to a good piercing when I was 19yrs old. Lol I chickened out. She said it was intense all the time.

Lucky I chickened out of mine like @WateryGem lol I heard a horror story and I've definitely ripped a piercing before in my head I was like "heighened sensation + rippage = oh god". Ex at the time was like come on nothing's gonna do that! Just told her a) it's not me who rips the shirts off me b) I don't have a friggin bra to protect my damn little nipples.
