What do you men think about it— I think it's all a scam, a conspiracy to change the way men view beautiful women. They make it seem like they are trying to make fat and ugly girls feel better but that's all bs. I new it was a conspiracy when they got rid of the likes on Instagram. There is no reason to do that unless you are trying to social engineer mens minds. It is a fact that all the top Instagram models fit the standard of the hip to waist ratio. That men are program to like by dna not society pressure.I believe they are targeting men because they are going into men spaces like video games and comic books and making all the women look ugly. In marvel they are telling the artist to draw women with no curves. And than we have that lizzo bs yesterday.

Right and that's great on an individual basis. However people do not embody just what they're told and part of our belief system comes from what society values/portrays. So it's not enough just to say it on an individual basis but what you tell people/children individually also needs to reflect in society. The most easily accessible information on what society values/portrays is mainly through the media at large.

So if I'm told all my life that women are valued for being smart, kind, funny etccc but then I turn on the tv and all i see is "curvy" women I will still understand that that's what society values...and if I'm not that then I may not be valued by society.

There's a more realistic representation of men though. So while you are told that hey women like tall men and you are short but that's okay because you can still be successful the media does show successful short men so those two things feed each other. If there was a missing loop then it is more likely that you wouldn't believe it.

This is why role models are so important because they SHOW you what is possible...not just tell you.

I would have a problem if the media showed tons of hot guys dating not so hot girls for their inner beauty... because as much as the "not so hot girls" would want that it's not realistic. Although it does happen in society it is not prevalent ... so as long as the media does not portray that as prevalent then its fine.

it's more than tv it does plays a role but not as big of a role as people are saying. High school plays a big role, I know women like to pretend that they don't care what men think, but all men know this is false. Girls see what type of women get all the attention and they hate those women. They say bad things about them behind there back. I think this body positive movement is the evolution of that.

Yea, I noticed the superficiality of all of his threads. lol

But then I further notice some of the subjects in his threads that are even more fun to watch. Women that "announce" their traits that align with what the majority of men state what they prefer, as if they are marketing themselves. But then they will go argue with other women that have differing opinions based on whatever this OP has mentioned, oh how they perceive as the topic at hand, and then tell them they are wrong. But that is not really about the men, but more of the competitive nature among our gender.

If I didn't find a woman attractive what would be the point? TBH poor hygiene, attention seeking and illegal drug addictions are the biggest turn offs for me. I maybe view it differently and I'm not boasting, but sex isn't a rare commodity to me, it never has been since I was in my mid-20s. I would rather have no sex than bad sex.

I think adults can make their own decisions. For example the mayor of London banned swimsuit adverts, why? I don't read comics and rarely watch superhero movies so couldn't care less. Most videogames have male characters anyway, Lara Croft had massive pointy tits, but girls were happy just to be playing a female character.

I grew up in the 80s and saw film stars: Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis and Arnie. Guess what body shape I wanted as an adult? 200lb of muscle. The reality is I'm lean, but still do workouts. I'm not going to win Mr Universe, but I'm not uncomfortable being naked in front of someone; isn't that what people should aspire to? Just being comfortable and themselves.

If I didn't find a woman attractive what would be the point? TBH poor hygiene, attention seeking and illegal drug addictions are the biggest turn offs for me. I maybe view it differently and I'm not boasting, but sex isn't a rare commodity to me, it never has been since I was in my mid-20s. I would rather have no sex than bad sex.

I would make her a cup of tea, let her use my phone and then tell her to piss off. Unless she was intelligent, we had common interests and I found her appealing and I was single. My type isn't what most find attractive; in simple terms I'm more interested in the girls who cried themselves to sleep and were only allowed safety scissors than the prom queens.

most men will fuck trust me a lot of men have fuck ugly or big women. Those women are very aggressive and if a guy thinks no one will know about it he will do it.

They make it seem like they are trying to make fat and ugly girls feel better but that's all bs. I new it was a conspiracy when they got rid of the likes on Instagram. There is no reason to do that unless you are trying to social engineer mens minds. It is a fact that all the top Instagram models fit the standard of the hip to waist ratio. That men are program to like by dna not society pressure.I believe they are targeting men because they are going into men spaces like video games and comic books and making all the women look ugly. In marvel they are telling the artist to draw women with no curves. And than we have that lizzo bs yesterday.
