Female Condoms

Hello, ladies:

Has anyone used female condoms? What was your experience like? Do you like them? Why or why not? Do you prefer the man to wear the condom? Are female condoms safer, just as safe, or less safe when compared to the male condom? Which type of condom do you typically use: the female condom, the man wearing the condom, or alternating?

I bought some myself but never used. I thought it would be awkward. I prefer the men using it

Are they more expensive than male condoms? Do you have to go someplace specific to get them? Why do you feel it would be awkward?

Yes, I looked it up, too. You lubricate the outside of the female condom, then insert two fingers into the condom so you can slip it in. The ring then needs to be on the outside mouth of the vagina. They say that if you can feel it or the length on the outside is too long, then you mustn't have put it in right.

I wonder if it stays put during intimacy.

When I bought mine it was more than the male condom. I don't remember where I bought it maybe cvs? I guess it's like wearing a bag down there

They work better because women are more likely to actually USE them every time since we're the ones who get pregnant.
