Hi,

I just learned yesterday that my roommate is pregnant, I want to support her but it was always awkward between us when we were in a room together, we have never

really talked not even smalltalk, so I can probably only support her with practical things. So leave out the emotional side like encouraging cause I am aware of my limitations, what practical things made life easier during your pregnancy, which behaviors of others did you find annoying during your pregnancy?

Well... because you two never really talk, I’m sure not much is expected.

Perhaps best to keep it simple and just tell her “if you ever need anything, I’m more than glad to help”.

See if she opens up the convo and then you can follow up on how you’d like to help with practical stuff to prepare for the baby.

I’m sure she will really appreciate it. You have a beautiful, kind heart Parkourler☺️👍🏼

She will just politely say thx, and is probably too proud to help. I reached to my mentor who is an older woman to

ask their friends if they have babystuff they dont need anymore. Then i will probably find some clever way of explaining that

to her, like I got drunk at a party and the women gave me stuff and unsolicited advice pregnancy and stuff here throw it away if you dont know what to do with it. something like that. I feel for her being a young mother in the most expensive city

in germany must be downright scary.
