According to the quiz results, I'm Hera. ?
uh oh

so youre the male version of Zeus's wife?

they should have a god archetype for males.

for example,

are you a Zeus God, all knowing all seeing,

Hephaestus God of Fire, Crafts, Metal (sounds like he's in a heavy metal band)

Apollo, God of music, arts, knowledge

Hades, God of Underworld

Ares, god of War

Hermes, God of Travel, communication. (he sounds like a Mercurial man)

Poseidon, God of the Sea, (sounds like a Neptunian man)
I thought Hera was Zeus's wife. Not a male, therefore.

OOOPS!

I thought you were male. lol

then I saw your profile says female. 😛 😆

ok, never mind.

and really?? Hera??

that's awful!!!! she always turns a blind eye to her husband's infidelities.

while he is spreading his seed around everywhere.
I know. The most unromantic of all goddesses! ?

Strange, because it's doesn't go with my INFP personality. INFP are supposed to be very romantic.
Hera is very strong in today's world. She's the least likely to wonder if a man is right for her or wonder about the pros and cons. Out of everyone, she is very clear and unmoving about what she wants in a partnership from very young and never really changes her outlook. It's very respectable as she knows how to take responsibility for her own happiness yet, even more than that, she has the faith to trust that shared happiness with a partner.

I don't think she was very happy though.

but she loves being the partner of a very powerful god. (Zeus)

so you have to take the good with the bad. Nothing is always good. there's always a downside to power.

When you talk about taking responsibility for your own happiness, this is exactly what I was taught by my mother and grandmother. They have both been dominant in their relationships.

Thank you, Tiz! I have to confess, the results of the quiz did worry me somewhat. Lol.

You are making me see Hera in a better light. 🙂

hera is STRONG to put up with that. but she remains for the family and what it represents. that is STRONG.

Is there an easy breezy quiz to take or do we have to use our brains? I don't feel like using my brain currently.
there are quite a few online.

I took some, and one said i'm Athena type, and the other Persephone, I would say i'm both, as I can see myself on both of them. but mostly the latter, as that's the consistency of my relationships.

Athena, I like, too, that's one I can relate too. My husband is my Apollo, and my Hades, except a less cruel hades, he's more the sweet lovely sensitive kind man. so he is merged as APolloades. lol 😛 😆

ooohh edit

there's one on this site too btw

http://goddess-power.com/questions.htm
I'm taking this test now to check if my feeling was right about my choice of goddess! 🙂

ok!!! that's awesome. post it too!!!

and see if it is you.

Libra placements seem more "Athena" though in my opinion. but you are more sexual,

and Athena is not sexual. She's one of the VIRGIN goddesses. (I see more VIRGO influence with Athena) due to the virgin.

so Aphrodite seems to fit you very much.
... the results are in..

The following are the scores I got...

Hera: 15

Demeter: -1

Athena: -2

Persephone: -29

Aphrodite: 33

Artemis: 0

Hestia: 0

So I was correct about being more like Aphrodite. Second up was Hera which is funny to me. I think my libra placements make me like her because I want a family, to cater to my man, I'm a homemaker, I like social gatherings and to be hostess, baking, interior design.. I do also want a successful man but never thought of myself as far as wanting "POWER". But I also like beauty, clothes, love, sex.. romance, like Aphrodite.. Not afraid to be the "life of the party" ... flirt and mingle..

Interesting.. This was fun! 😉

uh your 2nd is actually Persephone!!! i'm high first on Persephone, then Athena, then Artemis.

so you were in abusive cruel relationshps before to be in a Persephone?

My Persephone one came up (-29) less than all of my scores. I was in a abusive relationship in the past (10-11 years ago) but I grew from it quite fast.. Like Aphrodite, it's not hard for me to move on... My relationship before the one now ended 2 years and some change before I got with my bae now.. In between that time I had an intimate relationship with a Gemini.. for 8 months.

Basically, I was single for 2 years before my relationship now..

& was romantically intimate (no commitment) between the time with a Gemini)

My dating during the last 4 years..

Scorp 7 years, almost married and had a child- broke up 3 years ago (2014)

After (3 months after my breakup), a Gemini that I worked with started to peruse me.. I dated him for 8 months, then found out he was still married after all that time

Now I'm with my Cap! 🙂 we're 7 months in.

I just posted that to show that I can be committed to 1 man at a time but it doesn't take me long to move one after my relationship fails.

i'm so opposite from Aphrodite.

yeah ok, so you were minus Persephone. I have to read in depth of Aphroidite.

I lack the Sexuality of Aphrodite archetype.

which is why I understand the "virgin goddesses" more.

Tie between Athena and Persephone, many answers I have chosen two options instead of just one... but anyways, interesting.
Aries in your chart?
maybe my 1st house means Athena.

and my cap and pisces is Persephone. 12th.

Yeah I find Athena often tends to be Aries/Mars-influenced women

And Persephone tends to fall along both Aries/Pisces energy.

Just a pattern I've noticed.

Because I have nothing more on 12th house, and nothing on Pisces.

one thing about hera, is that she wants the most POWERFUL successful man,

which is Zeus,

Aphrodite, Hera, and Athena, are the three EXTROVERTED ladies.

the rest are actually introverted.
I scored 31 for Hera and 28 for Aphrodite, if that counts for anything. Lol.

Do they mean being extroverted in a relationship? I guess that would be true about me. Even in a relationship with socially popular guys, they always take a backseat once the initial stages have passed.

Quite frustrating at times...I prefer men to be in charge. But I know I can be a control freak. So, I guess they think it better to let me lead. ?

My current relationship has been different, thankfully.

you just need a man who can hold his own and allow you to lead and be wise to your wisdom.

allow to trust you to lead.

if that is your nature too.

edit

btw that's HIGH score for HERA.

Gosh! You're right.

Thank you, Lisa. I love the advice you are able to provide the women on here. You are very wise. 🙂

That's a high score? Geez! Then I am that type. Lol.

aw really? in public, my Athena side shows 😄 😄

Yes, really! 🙂

You have a keen understanding of moral issues. And you always have the right advice for the women on here. I find that admirable. 🙂

the women in my family line are very very strong. I really love the women in my family.

but you would have found me pathetic in the past being with an abusive man and not leaving him,

or being with a serial cheater and drug addict/drunk, and most people would look down on that. I found that humiliating and I suffered a lot but my inner nature wouldn't leave, for some reason, I thought that was all I could ever hope for. it's a sad pathetic way to live, but that's how I saw it.

I'm very sorry to hear that.

I guess it's your past experience that provides you with a good insight into other women's relationship problems. Also the fact that you worked on yourself and found a loving and healthy relationship.

I see some women making the same mistake over and over. I can't blame them, because our society dictates that women find a man to complete them. That they are somehow incomplete if not in a relationship.

yes I agree.

some women, if not ALOT make them over and over again.

if a woman wants to be in a relationship, their men should be loving and kind and treat them with respect,

just the way you as a woman would treat your man with respect and love.

Hera women might feel a little alienated in modern day because there's always that negative implication of sticking with a partner through thick and thin.

There's a kind of popular shame to the idea that people should stick with it.

But I promise almost all the women who score Hera on the quiz I ran are the least likely to need relationship advice, least confused. Very clear on what they want and their ideals.

She wasn't a goddess, but I also identify with Cassandra.

I like Cassandra

but sadly she is looked upon as someone who is crazy and no one wants to listen to her future seering ways.

that is her curse.

it's very submissive energy.

Hades needs a SUBMISSIVE lover.

Hera - I associate mostly with Cancer or women who are attracted to Sun-dominant type relationships.

Artemis - Aries but Mars/Venus always seems to factor some way into this one in one way or another in their chart.

^same with Aphrodite. I agree with you she is totally Venusian but Mars can factor in.

Hestia is often Pisces or Neptune.

That they are somehow incomplete if not in a relationship.

yes I agree.

some women, if not ALOT make them over and over again.

if a woman wants to be in a relationship, their men should be loving and kind and treat them with respect,

just the way you as a woman would treat your man with respect and love.
if a woman wants to be in a relationship, their men should be loving and kind and treat them with respect,

just the way you as a woman would treat your man with respect and love.

This is what most women forget once we enter a relationship.

The society deems endless sacrifices from women an acceptable thing. We are too quick to label someone a feminist or manly, and therefore unappealing, if they were to stand up for themselves.

Many people, even some educated and progressive ones have an issue with the rights women enjoy in Sweden.

----

Could Persephone be shown by a Saturn in 12th house aspecting almost every personal planet?

Because I have nothing more on 12th house, and nothing on Pisces.

Also, what's your godess archetype?

interesting but you have Aries.

do you have virgo, the opposite of pisces?

that could also indicate Persephone.

Virgo/Pisces axis.

----

Yes, I have Virgo, didn't thought about that...

thanks!

I was thinking that too, the axis, both sacrificing and both servicing,

it's very submissive energy.

Hades needs a SUBMISSIVE lover.

and pisces/virgo axis is very very much about submission.

one thing about hera, is that she wants the most POWERFUL successful man,

which is Zeus,

so she has to take the good with the bad, which is turning a blind eye.

What is the zodiac of your current partner?

I scored 33 for Aphrodite and 15 for Hera.. So I'm just a tad bit the opposite of you with similar traits.. My rising is in Cap & I'm with a Capricorn
I'm with a Capricorn too. Lol.

He lets me be myself, but takes charge of the relationship. So refreshing! 😄

Yes because Persephone rebels and misunderstands authority, so that's very much in fitting with Saturn aspects from 12th.

----

Case closed, then; yes, I have a quite weird chart.

Thank you for your help

To the second part, wow, what a mix, Hades Lord of the dead and Dionysus, enjoying life, senses (and wine) to the fullest.

Are you Plutonian (Hades)?
Yes it's a very hedonistic combination lol

I have a "Hades moon" thanks to Moon trine Pluto, out-of-aspect between Air Moon and Water Pluto. They never see the obsessive side of me coming until it's too late and enveloped all around them 🙂

I would Say I'm more like Aphrodite... Although I'm in a relationship now.. & he's an older man.. lol..

Out of all the goddesses, I believe I'm more like her.. She seems strong and doesn't let the power of a man "intimidate" her.. She possesses the power to win a mans heart.. not "soft" like the other goddesses. Not evil, but def not a saint.. I'm no prostitute.. but def not afraid of being sexual with my man/interest.. I don't go from man to man.. if you get me.. I go from man to man in the aspect that, when one relationship fails, it doesn't take long for me to "fall" again...
you and Nikki star are porn star quality 😛 😄

I honestly think about sex more than the average man.. smh!

She wasn't a goddess, but I also identify with Cassandra.

http://www.greekmythology.com/Myths/Mortals/Cassandra/cassandra.html
I like Cassandra

but sadly she is looked upon as someone who is crazy and no one wants to listen to her future seering ways.

that is her curse.

Exactly! That's how I felt when I was a little girl. Like I could see stuff and people didn't believe me. So, I stopped telling them and started writing and drawing.
does your creative stuff have curses on them as well?

Maybe. Tell me your address, and I'll send you a cursed drawing. Muhahahaha!

lol smh.

it's usually not cursed, but your creative soul pours into it, and it becomes a spiritual entitity.

I actually like to be surrounded by my art. It makes me feel calm and happy.

That's probably the most arrogant thing I've written on here.

I think my packed 1st house makes me arrogant. and then my 12th house makes me feel like shit.

it's an ongoing war. smh.

I relate. Sun in 1st house; Venus and Chiron in 12th. 🤗

Well trines are always supportive of the energy involved yes, but the positive and negative side of it depends on what kind of interests that energy is supporting. It can just as easily be that the chart holder is investing their energy into something destructive and a trine will do what it always does - support them to achieving that goal.

It's always a grey area with aspects. They all have clear definitions as to what they mean, but they're at the mercy of the chart holder's personality.

The nature of the planet changes things completely, as well as free will. Some day I'll put all my doubts/theories together to do a thread about aspects.

Just a pattern I've noticed.

....

O_O

what is the rest of the goddesses, tiz?

hera

artemis

Hestia

Hecate

Aphrodite

(I think Aphrodite is Libra) something Venusian (since the description says born from the, and that's VENUS)
A couple of major ones:

Isis

Demeter

no I mean what is the astrology of the rest of the goddesses?

Oh

Hera - I associate mostly with Cancer or women who are attracted to Sun-dominant type relationships.

Artemis - Aries but Mars/Venus always seems to factor some way into this one in one way or another in their chart.

^same with Aphrodite. I agree with you she is totally Venusian but Mars can factor in.

Hestia is often Pisces or Neptune.

oohhh

Hestia really is the Neptunian woman.

Also, I see Aphrodite as more a sexual being, more animalistic.

I see more an "animal" kind of astrology with her.

not so much Artemis and Athena as they are depicted as VIRGIN goddesses. I see Artemis as more Capricorn, can hold off sexual energy. and channel it somewhere else. even Virgo as virgin goddess.

----

That's the only thing I cannot stand about Pluto, submission. I respect the role of the teacher, until it becomes a power struggle, then Mars explodes.

Is it weird that I kind of want someone to make me submit, and no one has ever managed that? Yeah, that's weird. *whistles innocently*

----

Submitting a Gemini? HAHAH funny. How could a person control what the Gem himself can't control?

I think there are some phases in this pairing:

Playing with fire = Pluto tries to dominate but fails = The clash = Drama = Gem scapes

pluto dominates yes

but the submissive woman in this case wants to be taken. it's HER choice too.

that's why I think the real Persephone is looking to get away from the mother for awhile because in the mythology,

she eats of the pomegranate.

she loves her mother but she knows she doesn't want to be enveloped in the spring all the freaking time.

she is seduced by the Plutonian man.

edit

also she is QUEEN of her own world too.

because with her mother, the mother is always QUeen. soooo ugh!!!!

----

Yes!! Thanks for saying this because while reading that site I thought she was abducted, yes, but she choses to eat the pommegranate so Persephone actually wanted to go with Hades.

she does!! it's very tricky but I think that's from Demeter's POV, her mother is Demeter I think.

and Demeter believes her daughter is abducted.

only then does Persephone come back to her to spend half a year with mommy to tell her it's OK, mommy, i'm allright, no worries!!! i'm gonna be with you and then go back to my man the rest of the half year ok??

only then was Demeter Ok with it. it gave her a sigh of relief.

I think this is a good example of over protective mothers-children rship.

When you are a too dominant parent you don't let your children develop that side of them, you become that part that protects and stands for him/her. The consequence is vulnerable children that will lack those features so will look out for it, sometimes leading to searching for dominant (and even abusive) partners that substitute their parents and complement him/her.

The Astrology of Venus in Scorpio: Persephone and Pieces of Rose, Part 3

Posted on October 9, 2010 by Beth Turnage

Hades and PersephonePersephone

(Astrology Explored) Daughter of immortal deities, called the Goddess of Spring, Persephone’s story is Scorpionic in nature. Her birth, her life and her eventual role as Queen of the Underworld speaks to us about unrelenting forces that transform our existence.

The French say, “Mama, yes; Papa, maybe” and certainly this is true in Persephone’s case. Some accounts have Neptune as her father, others, Zeus. As with all things Scorpionic, there is more than a little mystery involved here.

The daughter of Demeter was given more than one praise of her beauty in Greek literature. She was called “white armed” and “slimmed ankled”. As Persephone came into puberty, all the male gods vied for her hand in marriage a situation that was said to be sparked by Aphrodite (Venus) herself. Aphrodite became concerned that Persephone would turn out to live life as a virgin just as her cousins Artemis and Athena. She, in a moment of Plutonian overkill instructed her son Eros to let loose his arrows on every god in Olympus. Even Zeus was so struck by Persephone’s beauty that:

The ruler of the universe, the charioteer of heaven, bowed his neck to desire–for all his greatness no thunderbolts, no lightnings helped him against Aphrodite in arms: he left the house of Hera, he refused the bed of Dione, he threw away the love of Deo, he fled from Themis, he deserted Leto – no charm was left for him but only union with Persephoneia.

Demeter was so alarmed by all this attention towards her daughter, that she sought the advice of an astrologer, which I include here in its entirety because of the fascinating detail of the astrologer’s process.

I honestly think about sex more than the average man.. smh!

you have more of a "male" mind it seems.

more masculine.

which explains the extroverted version of Aphrodite. she knows how to get into a man's mind.

read what it says here..

Aphrodite - possesses an extroverted temperament and focuses on relationship/love--she represents goddess of love (boundless eros) --her primary concerns/interests are mature, adult relationships, romance, sexuality, beauty and the arts. One account of Aphrodite’s birth states that she rose up from the foam on the ocean as a naked and fully developed beautiful woman; and she rode on a scallop shell.

decoration

Aphrodite’s origins, in fact, pre-date the ancient Greeks. She is said to be older than Time. An even more ancient deity exhibiting more aspects than love and beauty, she can also be recognized as Astarte or Ishtar. Her origins were Babylonian/Sumerian. Her domain embraced all of nature: vegetable, animal as well as human. Among her powers were associated with fertility and growth/harvesting of crops, war, descent to the underworld, birth/life/love/death and fate. She was also worshiped as sacred ‘prostitute’.

decoration

Aphrodite represents the uniting of feminine and masculine energies--through sexual union.

decoration

This goddess includes autonomy similar to ‘virgin’ goddesses yet also includes aspects of the ‘vulnerable’ goddess such as relationship-oriented. Her consciousness is both focused--directed, goal-oriented and diffuse--receptive, taking in the relationship between things. Aphrodite does not suffer, however, as did the ‘vulnerable’ goddesses. Although she is known for her numerous sexual liaisons, she is not bound by any man. However, unlike Athena, Artemis and Hestia--‘virgin’ goddesses--Aphrodite did give birth to children. Unlike the ‘vulnerable’ goddesses--Demeter, Persephone and Hera--Aphrodite was never a victim of a man’s unwanted passion for her; the desires were mutual. Unlike her ‘virgin’ sisters, she values emotional experiences with others more than she desires more solitary goals. Although an independent figure in her own right, this independence does not preclude emotional involvement with others. On the other hand, she is not attracted to permanent relational bonds like her ‘vulnerable’ sisters.

decoration

Aphrodite type woman admires potently masculine men and their capacity for success and combativeness. Her arena of interaction is in the boudoir or the salon. She feels comfortable with multiple relationships or extramarital affairs. She is attracted to creative men and engages with them as their inspirer. She is said to be attracted to the Son/Lover, as her romantic interests were a generation younger than she--those of the sons of her godly peers.
