For Amsterdam:

-Rijksmuseum - One of the best museums in the world. There's a lot of other great museums in the area such as the Van Gogh museum. There are dungeon tours as well. I'm a museum junkie so this place is heaven lol

-Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is a must.

- Go on a canal tour. The best way to get a sense of the city.

-Tons of great parks. Vondelpark is the most famous with a great scene..where people picnic, play games, and just a general festive environment.

-The pastries and desserts are amazing.

- The markets around the old city centre are worth checking out.

Thank you!

Do you have any insight on the nightlife as well?

+1 with all previously mentioned, theres also the anne frank house. i would move the wax museum lower on the list only because it's not that exciting to me personally and i feel you can get similar experience elsewhere. the rest is good stuff, great city.

I went to the Anne Frank house and all there was was a sign that basically said 'Anne Frank lived here'..with no entry. 😐

The wax museum is awesome! Where else can you see Mandela, The Dalai Lama, Ghandi, and the Incredible Hulk in one place 😄

I would have to agree with you it is awesome, I dont doubt it but I think you can visit any of the other locations and do things that are only unique to amsterdam while you're there.

I would be upset if the anne frank exhibit was closed but I guess they make their own rules.

It's definitely a fun city to visit, I want to go back 😄
