I have a friend who married another friend whose work visa expired and things were unstable in his home country. They divorced after a few years on friendly terms. Mutually beneficial arrangement.

My Taurus friend married an ugly all inside and out jerk because he needs a card and she wanted to be married to the point that she supported him financially and we all were throwing up about this nonsense.
After they married we all were waiting for him to get papers and dump her.
After 6 years of watching his verbally abusing her we ended friendship.
After years later I’ve bumped into her and she said her daughter getting married. I said we want to be invited to the wedding. She grew up before our eyes and it would be just right.
So we all reconnected. He still a jerk.
But they are still together.
My other friend sister married man for the same reason. He is cold and ignorant mtfuker and we also waited for him to dump her but still together for over decade.
One less fortunate married man who after marriage brought his family from other country and left her but the idiot woman kept him and his kids in her medical insurance until he finally moved out completely. And divorced her.
