And we developed the technology to travel out of our Solar system.... how would that effect vampires? Would another sun have the same effect on them as our sun does? Would they be able to feed on alien species? Would they still be immortal?

This sounds like an indica type convo and I’m down for it 😎

Okay so the vampire would totally be effected by another planets sun because no matter the sun on either plant it is still always a dying star 💫 ☀️, that aspect wouldn’t change.

As for the travel, feeding on aliens and immortal aspect:

I feel like they’d barely survive space travel because they don’t have normal amounts of blood at all times in their bodies since it needs to be replenished. Their body lives on blood so they’re need a steady supply to space travel and not die.

They could live on aliens if said aliens 👽 had something like blood which essentially is plasma and protein and water and some other elements. So the aliens blood would need the main components of energy which is the plasma and protein in order to survive.

Immortality is questionable 🤨— I need to think on that one.

Write a book series on space traveling vampires and be the first to answer these questions lol.

Lol. I'd read it.

I have been trying to write a sci-fi book for some years now. I started but got distracted and then came back to it and didn't like what I had down. I do have the characters in my head still and the general concept as to what it's about but I haven't executed it fully yet. There is an element to immortaliy... or a species that seems immortal because they live for 1,000 yrs but thats as close to vampires as I got.... not saying that I cant develope a species that are vampire like as a whole but at the moment they wouldn't be the main focus to what is in my head right now.

Yes but not every star(sun) is in the same age of development and size. Some stars are going super nova. Some stars are small. Some stars are blue. Some stars are older then ours some stars are younger. They are not all like our sun...

Most vampire legends state that they need blood but they won't die, they go into like a "sleeping" type of stasis and can stay like that for years until they are replenished. Most stories have a lot of the more ancient vampires doing that on purpose.

So some alien blood might be comparable but some would not be. That could be a strong element in a story.
