Anyone wth these placements can help me understand this Virgo guy?

I need some insight from people with these placements Cancer Moon/Virgo Venus.

What do you want to know in particular?

Well he actually told me he prefers to be friends based on an instinct he has.

But basically I wanted to know about how slow they are when it comes to being interested and how they express interest.

I have a Cancer Moon and Aries Venus and I was very persistent/consistent with initiating conversations most of the time. We flirted, went on a date but because we have been busy we only saw each other like 3 times.

But because he told me that, I feel like he never gave it a chance and I don’t think it’s worth trying to change his mind. Since I know Virgos tend to be kinda stubborn haha

But I asked if he wanted to hangout next weekend and he said yeah but he would hangout as a friend and not as a date because he’s learning to trust his instincts.

Yeah I’m noticing that for sure. We still text like normal and I’ve been told that he probably wants to know me as a friend first then see if he sees me in a more romantic level. We never really got to know one another as friends honestly lol
