Cleanliness? Germophobics? Is this you?

Stayed in a cabin over the weekend with a group of people. There was one person in our group who wouldn't let anyone move anything in until they went in and sprayed everything down with Lysol first.

Looked it up, they weren't a virgo, but, yep, they had some heavy virgo influences.

I thought this has always been a stereotype of virgos, so I'm asking is cleanliness/germaphobia actually true for any of you?

What was their sun?

I have heavy Virgo influence and it's true for me...

-The kitchen is huge, must wiped down all the counters before I start cooking, even if they have already been cleaned.

-All dishes HAVE to be in their places or it freaks me out.

-Don't touch/move stuff of mine, I WILL notice! LOL

Don't get me wrong, my bedroom itself can be cluttered, but it's clean under that stuff. 😄

I know 2 people like that - One is a Taurus, the other a Pisces

If some global epidemic hits..I'll be taking refuge in either of their houses 😄

Yes!!!! Like Anal Retentive germaphobic!!!!! I almost got kicked off a flight to Texas for my son's Air Force graduation because I was refusing to part with my cleaning products, which I thought was concealed beyond security. After my husband and security personnel convinced me that I would not be allowed on the flight with these products, I finally threw in the towel, but if it were not for my son, I would have not boarded that plane.

Anyway, I had to find a Wally World (Wal-mart) in San Antonio and spend additional funds to buy a whole new bucket of cleaning products because I wouldn't dare spend a night in a hotel without cleaning the room first and Never, and I do mean NEVER EVER EVER lie on top of any comforter in any hotel!!!!!! And always take shower shoes.

I am like this. I won't walk without shoes in any place like that. Not even socks. I never sleep under any civers except my own. I'll even bring my own blankets and pillows.

@feby.....lol...me too....I thought I was the only person that traveled with extra sheets and my own blanket. My husband used to get so angry with me because of the extra baggage, but now he wholly understands my plight after I pointed out a few not so clean spots at a few hotels. Now when we travel, he"ll say, don't forget your Lysol wipes and Clorox spray

Lol I know what you mean. When you think it's just you then you find out it's not. It's even liberating in a way 🙂
In general I can't handle dirty feet. IMO the bottoms of our feet should never be dirty.
I've slept fully clothed I mean like jackets with hoods lmao.

A handheld or mini 'black light' lamp (ultraviolet - UV) can be useful

You can check whether motel/hotel furnishings and bed linen have been cleaned or sanitized
Bodily fluid stains will fluorescence under UV light

They can also be used for inspecting artwork

Hubby is like that, he doesn't have any virgo placements though. He loves going to stay in cabins, huts, etc, cleanliness is his middle name. His sainted American mom is a taurus though.

You should see my house before and after we're married. You can eat off of the kitchen floor now but I don't know where the plates are. 😄
